Sykesville AG & Youth Fair — Local services in Sykesville

Started as a nice little grange style fair in an empty field above sykesville. This has grown to the same size ( if not bigger) than most county fairs. Activities, rides, and lots of fair food. Easy off and on rt119. Not far from rt219 & rt322. Truck and RV parking available. There have been lots of demolition derbies and figure 8 races over the years. Poorly ran, limited water for livestock barns, barns flooded with rain runoff, due to poor drainage and lack of maintenance. Ring was a complete disaster, due to poor drainage issues. Expo building for horses was not available once again and is used for storage purposes, not what it was built for, also flooded with runoff, due to poor drainage and lack of maintenance. We attended the Sykesville AG and Youth Fair on Sunday (Free Day) and on Wednesday (Demo Derby & Monster Truck) and had a wonderful time!
