Furniture Masters — Local services in Sylacauga

Our initial experience with Furniture Masters was great, but I found it odd that they needed a copy of my drivers license to make a purchase in full with cash, as if I was a criminal. They had a nice selection of appliances and we were able to pick out what we needed the same day at a lower price when other stores in the area required us to order the appliances, (delivery was weeks out) and the prices were higher. I purchased a fridge and a stove. The stove, I had taken home myself and I paid the fee for in house delivery on the fridge. The problem came when it was time to deliver the fridge. The manager was with his helper and his only care in the world was that he got the delivery done as fast as possible. He abused my doorframe and my kitchen floors moving this appliance, putting new scratches in both the fridge, and my door that weren't there before. He was complaining that the fridge wouldn't fit and continued to attempt to brute force the fridge through my doorframe. This was despite having measured the clearances prior to purchasing the fridge. He rammed and pushed and almost let my door handle put a dent in the fridge before I stepped in and guided the fridge in effortlessly. In the end, he also scuffed the vinyl floor in the kitchen dragging the fridge into place. If I hadn't been remodeling I'd be more angry. Definitely won't be giving these guys my business anymore. They're also really pushy about financing...

Went to several different furniture stores around the Alex City, Sylacauga, Childersburg area. This one, by far was the best. Nice, knowledgeable staff who let us look around, but were there to answer questions and help if we needed. They helped us get exactly what we were looking for at the price we had set. Delivery is supposed to be next week, I will update then. As for now, 5 stars from me.... (UPDATE)Took me a while to update, but the furniture was delivered a little ahead of schedule. For the past two weeks, we’ve been into furniture Masters to look for living room sets for our new house that we’re buying, all of those experiences were wonderful. The manager and Jay were super friendly and really good at working with our budget. We did end up purchasing a full living room suit from them with our budget, they discounted us and walked us through everything even explain the protection plan that is offered with the furniture. They were super friendly and one of the best experiences that we have ever had!!! We will continue to...
