Please read this review before you book as a new client: I had an unpleasant and unacceptable experience at The Wild Hare Salon. I booked an appointment on January 30th for a color & haircut with Holly Grove for March 1st at 9am. The day of my appointment, after the color and rinse, Holly applied toner. Her associate came up and shared that her next appointment was in 8 minutes. Holly stepped away to let my toner set and came back shortly after to tell me that other associates would be finishing my service. The associate that rinsed my toner a short time later also had a client whose color was setting so I said I would skip the cut. We walked back to the station & she said she had another client but would dry my hair as much as she could. By this point, I was so angry i was ready to walk out. She was rushing through brushing and drying my hair. She was rough and even BURNED my scalp with the dryer. Meanwhile, Holly was behind me helping the next client. I booked with HER and drove 40 minutes for her to provide the service. Concurrently, a gentleman walked in and asked for Holly (he looked to be a sales rep) and she YELLED at him. It was horrible to watch and completely unprofessional. As I paid my $210 bill Holly offered to fit me in next week for a haircut as an apology. After all of this, I will not return.    Read moreI would be very careful going here with your extension. Maddie was recommended to me by my color girl who works there. So I took her word and messaged her on instagram to schedule an appointment and ask to drop my extensions off early. I dropped them off 3 weeks prior to have them dyed and washed to not only make my appointment shorter but make sure they were colored properly. A couple days before my appointment Maddie messages me asking if I could come in early, which of course I can. When I arrived my hair was not dyed nor washed! (I shouldâve known then) she begins to put them in and creates huge bundles causes bumps in my head, so they are super noticeable. Then she hands me off to my girl to dye (nothing against her dye) and says she will blend when I am done. Well she then leaves and is no where to be found once I need the blend. She expected me to walk around with them totally noticeable for days. Thank god I didnât have her blend them though because when I got home they were put in so wrong that beads where not attached and to much hair was in so many different places.. The kicker to this story is when I sent pictures and called I have been ignored by management. They arenât taking accountability for their employees and their work. She was very excited because this was her first salon experience. When I made the apt ,on my email it gave me a price of 123 dollars. When she was done she wound up charging me 178! How'd it go from 123 to 178?! Also very uncomfortable the whole time as Carly didn't say one word or make us feel welcome and honestly I couldn't wait to leave.I called the owner the next day and she was making every excuse and lying to me. Saying things from oh she used extra bowls of hair dye, oh she she used a toner. Which she did not. I told her that carley never mentioned a toner and if she did and if i knew it cost 55 dollars extra I would've said no. Never been to a salon where they just add services without the clients consent. It was like she was just coming up with everything not to give me some of my money back.
