Are you to go up here mind you it is a simple pull off so you can look out across are great mountains and on a clear day you can see highway 515 and highway 53 westbound I used to spend every weekend up there when they used to be a peanut man that would sell his peanuts but it's literally big enough for about six or seven cars to pull off and it is a really good place if you want to watch several cities a fireworks during the holidays but if that's your idea you better get there about 3:00 4:00 in the afternoon because it will get...

It was not a planned trip. We just missed a turn and ended up going passing this place. It was a magical view and felt we did the mistake for our own good. The view is wide and clearly visible. Have some space for parking vehicles. In this particular day around 3pm the wind was heavy due to the weather conditions and it was freezing cold. Only disappointment is the place is destroyed by unorganized graffiti. There is so many and it ruins the beauty of the place. But not the view. I wish people have been more considerate about the...

Great place to stop on a motorcycle ride. Incredible views, and they get even better at sunset. Gave 5 stars, but alas really should be 3-4 due to the very large amount of trash that accumulates there. Big ask to people, if you go here don’t leave trash. And if you’re coming by in a car to look at the view, bring a trash bag and maybe pick some up, do...

Here are some trees commonly seen In the North Georgia mountains,You’d typically find a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees. 1. Oak trees, including varieties like white oak and red oak, are quite common. 2. Hickory trees are also prevalent in this region. 3. Pine trees, such as the Eastern white pine and loblolly pine, are widespread. 4. Maple trees, including red maple and sugar maple, add beautiful fall colors to the landscape. 5. Dogwood trees, known for their lovely spring blossoms, are also found in this area. These trees contribute to the lush, diverse forests that make the North Georgia mountains so picturesque, especially in the fall. Follow to learn about nature along with me. 🌱 #trees #outdoors #forest #hiking #travel #stem #drone #tech
