Worst experience ever. Terrible management, rude disrespectful, assumptive and highly passive in aggressive comments towards the individuals dealing with the passing of their loved ones. Debbie is an awful women and we are very confused as to how someone as unkind as her has been placed in a position of management. Debbie has slandered our familyās passing with assumptive comments of us vacationing with my additional guest calling making a suggestive aim at my fidelity to the passing of my daughters father who passed away September 9th of 2020!! How rude!!!!! I have photo evidence of her disrespect and blatant rudeness. We had confronted this business regarding a stay we had that was covered in mildew that made our chest very tight and our throats sore and took many photos regarding our stay and the mildew/mold growing!!! When booking through VRBO you select yes to pets on the end of the booking for pet friendly properties.. and she said it failed to be added, she was very unnaccomadating to our service animal (PTSD DOG) stating that breed isnāt allowed n ignored me when I stated I do have documentation to show her if she would like it which is also in email to the company (which legally by law~ is not allowed to be questioned NO MATTER WHAT) on top of our 30 pound puppy we had during our stay. As we were packing to leave a day early from our trip Debbie arrived on site without any suggestion to us or response to ANY of my emails or photos (photos to prove the issues and water damage/mildew or possible mold) during Covid-19 without mask and no heads up putting us all at risk for Covid-19 including my 5 year old. Oasis states they do not do this unless there is an emergency. Our puppy had pottied in the downstairs basement area and upon seeing it before us due to her unexpected arrival and rudeness, helping herself to enter the home to our shock, she saw this potty mess from the 3 month old puppy and it was immediately cleaned and wiped down with cleaner. She then turned the issue of our health being at risk to mold from obvious water damage caused to the building and turned it into an issue of my informing her of our pet allergies in a prior email when distributing photos of every amenity being broken and not up to par. She diverted the issue to get away with not refunding any of our stay. Our reservation states yes to pets which we have photo evidence of. We failed to submit the second guest on our reservation but who cares when you pay that much! Nothing was damaged. Currently we do not give a damn about the refund but the commentary about the passing of my childās father has distraught me the most and honestly blew my mind!!! We added photos proving we visited the gravesite in Ohio! I pray this review allows photo posting so I can prove she lied and was so disrespectful regarding the passing! The grill is completely disgusting and rusted, the hot tub was half filled and WE were told to fill it ourselves ( very unprofessional and NOT why we paid $180 per night on top of a $225 cleaning fee!!!) We requested to discuss a refund due to the multiple issues prior to Debbies very disgusting and out of place comments to make to someone grieving the loss of their childās father let alone the emotional turmoil that causes a mother who is helping her 5 year old daughter to cope with this new life) nasty and filthy behavior from someone in a position of management. No matter that issue of the pets being present there is absolutely no reason for such comments or reactions and lies. She also lied and falsely kept my deposit on the location we rented from and I believe my email to be in contact was blocked so I could not verify the proof with Oasis, the 33 time stamped photos proving she is a thief and lied about damage to the property after we left our stay early due to the pain of breathing in the home. We hope to feel better on our next vacation location, but are going to see a doctor!

We had our parents stay with us so they could babysit our 2 children under 3 years old while we attended the wedding. On Friday night, we were at rehearsal dinner until 10pm. We settled down around 11pm and proceeded to get ready for bed. When we pulled back the sheets of the freshly made bed, we found a used/open CONDOM inside the bedsheets. We were horrified to say the least. My wife immediately emailed the management company and took a picture. She took one picture and I cleaned up the condom myself. We didn't think it necessary to document any further. We were so disgusted and we just wanted to get rid of it. Every bedroom had sleeping people in it and there were no extra sheets in the house, leaving us to spend our night on the couch and getting poor sleep. My wife then had to do the laundry the next morning.
The next morning my wife spoke with the management company. In the conversation, the owner asked my wife if she would like to leave immediately and receive a refund. Because we had the wedding to attend that night, along with having 4 other people besides my wife and myself, my wife said no. Upon my wife saying no, the owner said the company would be conducting an investigation. Why would we lie about something like this?
However, we do understand a business must do their due diligence and we respected them and their time. The owner said she would follow up with us at 10am on Monday. We respected her and her investigation and did not reach out in the interim. Unfortunately, people do make false claims and businesses must protect themselves against this practice.
On Monday at 10am, we were told they were still conducting their investigation. They told us they would call with answers when they completed their due diligence. Again, we respected their time.
By Tuesday morning, we had not received a call. My wife was forced to follow up again. Tuesday afternoon, we received an email - no phone call. In the email, the owner mentioned what happened as an "allegation" multiple times, she cited proof of the laundry being taken to the cleaners, she spoke of how the cleaning company has never had an issue like this in over 10 years, and she never once acknowledged how this experience made us feel. It was clear her mind was made up we were making false claims. She cited lack of evidence although she received a picture.
Rather than spending her time trying to make this mistake right, she spent her time trying to prove us out to be liars.
The owner feels attacked. To be fair, this is a shocking occurrence to wake up to on a Saturday morning. And she is protecting her business. However, the way this has been handled has been one of divisiveness and it is a shame. From the outset of the initial conversation, I don't think she ever believed us.
This has escalated way farther than it should have. I'm sure we could have handled the situation better in certain ways. Notably through our communication and logging of evidence. Our intention was not to bash this company. We just wanted to be made whole after our dreadful Friday night. The owner offered to comp the cleaning fee, which is 1/2 of one night's stay. She believes this is her going above and beyond. We do not feel this is sufficient. We don't feel heard or believed, and that is worse than any amount of lost money. Again, why would we lie about something like this?
We fought for comping one night's stay. This would be a sacrifice by both parties and is a reasonable solution. We chose to stay Saturday and we should pay for that night. Again, we just wanted this to be resolved so we could move on. Now we are halfway through the following week and are having to write reviews in order to inform other owners/renters of our situation.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe rented the Mi Cabin Tu Cabin for 4 nights. The cabin itself was amazing. It was a 4 bedroom. It was 4 couples. It was perfect. When we arrived, we conducted a walkthrough, nothing but good compliments on the cabin. This was my 1st time booking a cabin for more than 2 people so that made me feel good too. We unloaded each vehicle, the Ram, Charger and Porsha and went outside to take pictures. Once we was done, I checked my phone to see had the kids called (No) Oasis Cabin had called several times and left a text (The neighbors are complaining that you are making too much noise and if it do not stop, they will call the Sheriff on us) wow really!!! This blew us away. So of course we are black, having a great time, donāt want any problems so we go inside and close the door so the neighbors wonāt complain. (We was not loud)!!! So immediately texted her back apologized. We did not do anything outside the entire stay because we did not want the Sheriff to come. We could not enjoy the roasting of marshmallows or barbecue. All activities had to be on the inside. The guys went outside to smoke when a white female came outside and of course I was thinking she was the one that complained, I spoke as always and ask her was she the one that complained and she stated it was not her and pointed at the house to the left of us stated that thereās a grumpy old man there that complains all the time. Then she told me to go to her website of cabins and book with her. That she do not have cabins so close. I think this should be included on the website. We got up the next morning and the morning offer that to find a large golden retriever snooping around the trash and on the porch like he was at home. They said bears not dogs. We are Dog Lovers!!! When I called and reported it, She said(Donāt Let It In) really???? The next day we went to town we stayed in Walmart for 2 hours. We spent maybe close to $400.00 just on food alone so that we wouldnāt have to come back out. When we was done we saw 3 thrift stores, of course we stopped. We bought some things. One of the workers asked where was we from, we told him Atlanta when he said (I know you glad to get away from there and get some peace and quite, we donāt have that mess up here ) I smirked and left the store. While walking to the next store, there was 5 white males sitting in chairs sitting alongside the walk way, as we passed them on the walkway We spoke as I always do everybody, they spoke back. But when we came out the store All of them had put on (Donald Trump) hats, crossed their arms and looked away. That was our Que to get from down there (No time for No Hangings)!!!
Now most of us One way or another are First Responders. There was 2 police officers thatās been on their job more than 50 years put together both served in the military, one Army the other Marine. There was a school nutritionist /daycare nutritionist, Director of Security at one of the Biggest and Major Hotels, there was a disable Veteran there and lastly the IRS no need to say anything else. We decided to book a house in Florida for future stays
When we left, the neighbor meet us on the way out she continued to be very friendly if it wasnāt for her, this would have been a much different conversation.
We stayed in the house like we was little children. We will never never never stay here again.
