I felt the customer service here was definitely lacking. I have only been here a few times. On my first visit, the customer service was good, though yesterday the customer service was poor, and I just did not feel comfortable. Some places, you simply can not walk around a store in peace, without feeling like the employees are not allowing you to shop at your own pace, as if they are overly anxious to help, to the point where you do not feel comfortable. Good customer service does not mean making the customers feel uncomfortable by being overly helpful, and not being respectful that some customers simply do not want that extra attention. I worked for many years in customer service myself, and I was able to pick up on it really quickly, and to show respect to customers that seemed to want to shop without a lot of additional assistance. I always made a point to give those employees a bit of extra space. That is one of my pet peeves, when employees just do not show that respect, when they do not adapt well to different types of people and customers. I...
Read moreI have wanted to stop by for a while to see the creamery options, but it hasn't worked out with my schedule until this past Sunday. There are small yard signs to help you find your way, but we found the graphics not as clear and easy to see as we'd like. You'll drive into the farm and past a few buildings before you see the farm store on your left. It can feel like you're driving onto private property, but it's back there.
There was plenty of rolled butter available, but all of the milk had reserved tags, so there was none available for walk-in purchase. If you're planning on milk you should probably call ahead before you make the drive. There was a nice selection of cheese from Sweetwater Valley Farm & Creamery in TN though.
The overall selection was a bit smaller than I was anticipating, but it's also late January so many places are slow right now.
The restroom is outside the store building and is well maintained and the animals by the parking lot keep things...
Read moreWe went here in July 2023.
It is a little out of the way, but that’s fine because you get to enjoy some of the countryside on the way there.
The farm has a store. They sell fun things like hot sauces, olives, and chips. Of course they have milk, cheeses, including goat cheese, and butter. They even offer raw cow milk, advertised as for pets. We bought some goat milk soap and a candle.
We didn’t get any of their beef products such as steak, liver, and bones, because we didn’t have a container to keep them cool, so make sure you bring something like that.
There are also animals that you can pet. When we went there were calves and goats.
There are probably 10, maybe 15 parking spaces. That was fine when we went since we had 3 vehicles, and there were a couple other families there at the same time. It is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp at the front.
We really enjoyed this place and would love to come back with a cooler to be able to take some more of...
