Pick another distillery! White Path Creek Distillery sells ridiculously watered down liquor and “covers” themselves by putting a disclaimer on the jars that say that contents may freeze if put in the freezer. In all my life, flavored liquors or not, we have chilled liquor in the freezer and have NEVER had liquor that’s 80 proof, freeze after being in the freezer. So perhaps what little alcohol they put in the jars they sell are “80 proof” but it must be something like 1/4 liquor and 3/4 additives-fruit, water, what have you. So we are extremely annoyed that we spent a good deal of money to take home and give gifts of watered down liquor. I hate to have to leave a bad review but after our experience I have to share so others can be made aware. So if you’re going to WPC distillery for a tasting, know that the liquor does taste amazing, the experience of the tasting is fun and the location is beautiful. But if you’re going to also purchase any additional liquor, don’t. Spend your money elsewhere and get good liquor that is actually what is it advertised to be! No need to spend nearly 40$ a mason jar for 1/4 liquor! And perhaps the liquor they shared for tasting wasn’t as watered down as what they sell to take home. It didn’t taste like it was watered down when we went for the tasting. However 6/7 jars of moonshine, whiskey and vodka all froze when put in the freezer to chill. The only jar that didn’t was the 99 proof.

Stopped to try out their offering. Very unpleasant racial experience. The lady at the counter didn’t want to greet me despite me saying hi. She wanted to talk to the only couple at the counter who were white. I asked for a menu, and she smirked and said we have too many flavors and don’t keep a menu, and went back to talking to the white couple. I had to really interject to ask her about the flavors, took maybe like 30 seconds to explain and she really ignored me. After I said I wanted two jars, she briefly paid attention to me to get my order and continued to chat with the other couple. She got my change and didn’t want to hand it to me and let the change fly. Very unpleasant interaction. Southern hospitality * only if you are white.

Wow. What a unique experience. My wife and I have been here twice now and have had an excellent experience both times. The flavors are unique and not what you would expect from a brandy, vodka, or even a moonshine distiller. The pear brandy (yes, you read that right) is my favorite. The host/owner is affable and big on customer service. Look forward to being back the next time we are in town.

We stayed in Cherry Log for vacation. Found this place comes highly recommended. James, the owner was fantastic, a true artisan in the distillery business! Very knowledgeable in his craft! Tasted his wide array of products and flavors and they did not disappoint!! Opened in October of ‘21, his 51 acres is absolutely spectacular! Well maintained and landscaped! Plenty of scenery and photo opportunities! His tour is thorough and unique to his product! We did call ahead as a courtesy to check availability as we had a large party. James was very quick to reassure us in his ability to accommodate and did not hesitate to schedule our tour. He did recommend to come early for large parties as his staff is limited. Overall, we had an amazing experience touring his facility and sampling his products. I highly recommend stopping by and giving James some of your time, and if time permits, let him give you a tour of his place and educate you in his process and how the name White Path distillery came to be! I promise you will enjoy every minute!! Maybe even come home with a...

We ended up stopping here because we saw a sign saying distillery this way with an arrow pointing down a road off the highway. We figured, “Why not?” So we went. Turns out they just opened last week. We both did the tasting which featured locally distilled flavored brandy, vodka, and moonshine. Taste all 8 flavors for $12 and you get a shot glass to take home. All of them were good even though I don’t usually drink alcohol straight. Then I got a frozen apple daiquiri with the apple brandy in it. They don’t skimp on the liquor either. You have to try the daiquiris! The people were so nice, too. James and Diana were great. They also have a beautiful area for a wedding venue. There’s a little chapel, beautiful trees and mountain scenery, and a little wooden bridge over a stream that would be a great photo location. And it’s dog...
