If I could leave a negative rating I would. PLEASE READ THIS COLLEGE STUDENTS. The situation I had with my roommate could happen to ANY OF YOU. We found this place through a sibling helping us look for a furniture store in Tallahassee. In March we went to the store and had our very first encounter with D. Palmer over the phone (She was closed due to Covid). She was VERY VERY RUDE to my friends. She hung up on them. Not realizing we were together in the same vehicle I called her off my phone and acted as if we didn’t just have this same exact conversation and she was EXTREMELY nice to me. Later we visit the store and check things out. She claims she has the best furniture in Tallahassee. We drove to check out the mattresses and physically see the bed sets on the website . The mattresses are hard. Just saying . Got mine from American Freight. It was cheaper and better quality. Back to the situation. May 2020 We ended up putting TWO COUCHES on layaway for our move at the end of July and was planning on getting all of our other furniture from there. She pleaded and begged for us to shop with her. We visited again because she was having a “free area rug” promotion and because we walked out empty handed she started running behind us. LITERAY! It’s like she’s desperate for a transaction . We told her we would have to go somewhere else if our couches can’t be ready by THE END of July. She said she can promise this and we would have to pay it off 2 weeks before when we needed it. (THIS IS DURING COVID SO HER GUARANTEE SHOULD HAVE CHANGED AND UPDATED) We did that exactly . Once my roommate sent the last payment we called her to verify how we would have to pick up. She tells us we wouldn’t be able to get it when we wanted it. WHAT?!?! So, my roommate tells her don’t process the order and she’ll give her a call back in 30 minutes or less to see if we could find another option. 25 minutes later were CALLING HER PHONE and all of my roommates calls went straight to voicemail (WHICH MEANS SHE BLOCKED HER) because my calls were ringing and i called directly after her at least 5x. She eventually called ME back and said “Since I didn’t hear from you I processed the order” $630!!!! She basically said it would take 2 weeks to get a refund and had the audacity to try and get over on us. It’s 3 weeks later and the refund has not been returned. So my roommate calls her TODAY and she says “I don’t give refunds so I must have made an exception” you couldn’t even remember this? She’s a SCAMMER. Then she yells at you and tells you she has customers in line so she can avoid answering questions. DO NOT GO HERE! Just got to American Freight, Tallahassee Furniture Direct, Amazon, or even McDonald’s . You’ll have better service. But!!! We will be calling Ashley’s Furniture...

Tallahasee Discount Furniture. My husband and I had a horrible experience. My mother-in-law has cancer and is coming to live with us. We live in 2 bedroom apartment with our daughter. Our daughter willingly gave up her bedroom so my mother-in-law would have a place to sleep We decided to look for and purchase a sofa sleeper. Found one at TDF. We bleseed someone with our old sofa because it was in great condition. Ordered the sleeper sofa went to pick it up it was wrapped in plastic. Brought it home unloaded it began to unwrap the plastic it had a board on the back of the sofa with many small screws. Proceeded to unscrew the board on the back of the sofa and noticed the bottom was broke. Loaded it back on the truck returned it to TDF explained to her what we found she was apologetic and said she would order another sofa bed. Called to inquire as to when the second sofa bed would arrive she told us it should be here soon. She also stated that she was doing us a favor by reordering a new sofa bed. I asked how is that she stated because it looks like your teenage son kicked in the back of the sofa. I was shocked to say the least. Told her that was untrue and that our son is 35 and knows what he's doing because he does that kind of work the only thing we did was unwrap and began to unscrew the screws and noticed the bottom was damaged. She disputed everything I said basically calling me a liar and talked over me not allowing me to say much, therefore I asked her to cancel the order. She refused saying she had already reordered the sofa. Told her we would call the finance company and cancel she told me to go ahead they want cancel unless she agrees. Spoke with the finance company explained the situation and they cancelled our order. Will NEVER refer or shop at TDF again. Shop at...

I order Chaise couch and recliner and dresser with mirror. The couch and dresser came a week later which is what Im used to seeing from Ashley furniture as it is not my first Ashley purchase. I called the day my couch was to be in and was told with snootiness that I had to wait and I would have been ok if this woman was nice about it but she wasn't. My boyfriend spoke with her as well and said there is ignorance for sure. I then after almost 3 weeks of no recliner decided to say cancel it. Called ominous and they said ok. Then I contacted this woman back and told her listen i'll wait. She insisted I come and sign off on it. Even though I said several times I will wait. Then she proceeds to tell me she buys all this stuff which I know but then WHY tell someone NO when they changed their mind. Then don't complain anymore since they shot me down saying it was a lot of trouble her and okinus went through lol okinus said it takes 5 minutes and that the original contract was still open. Okinus contacted her back and explained the contract is still fine and once again SHE turned it down. She claims she tried everything to make me happy but yet she refused to just say OK ill call when it gets here. Instead she sends me a text on how she will be out this money and on and on.. This is ridiculous! She chose not to continue. She also stated she canceled it from Ashley and not sure why she wouldn't get her money back then since it was canceled on her end too. The help is wonderful and friendly but I will pass word around because she should not be dealing with the public. I should have listened to others...
