We were in the mood for Filipino food today and found that Jollijeep was open today. We got to try their food at the Pacific Islander festival in Tampa a few months ago and we liked the pork sisig. We got pork sisig again today and tried the sago gulaman. There was a little less than 15 minute wait that looking through the nearby gas station's treats occupied. Paul came out and was personable, humble, and made delicious food and told us the next festival they were thinking of going to was the Watermelon Festival in Brookesville.
I thought the pork sisig was pleasant,enjoyable, and comforting in flavor and texture. The sago gulaman was sweet and the tapioca was fun and soft. I had out if town visitors and they commented on how amazing the food is. Everything was so fresh and tasty and my husband said the sisig was one of the best he ever had.
