The area and view alone is spectacular. You can see White Mountain from the track and the fall foliage is amazing.
I have driven this track since September 2017, when it first opened. It is a really fun track. A 2.5 mile high-speed roller-coaster, almost equal to Watkins Glen's pace but with more elevation change! CMS and WGI are my top two tracks! The track is fantastic with lots of room for passing and screwing up. Elevated flag stations take some getting used to but lights always keep you informed of conditions. There is a 90dB sound limit. CMS has two paved paddock areas, one nice bathroom in the main building and porta potties spread around. Water is available in the fancy bathroom. A food truck is a regular feature now with good sandwiches. There are all kinds of food options (and gasoline) in West Ossipee, just 2.5 miles away. There are nice facilities for having meetings and classes. There's a patio area where you can cook and eat, behind the main building. All said, CMS is a first-class facility and a fantastic driving experience. The owner is a really nice guy too! The close by town of West Ossipee is very good too for food, drinks and lodging. The motels are just "okay" and there are cottage and house...
Read moreClub Motorsports is like a playground for adults that like driving on track. Only a few years old it's one of the nicest tracks I've ever been to. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is convenient and easy to get to from I-93, and the track is downright amazing. The quality of the surface is very good being so new and the track features a mix of tight technical sections as well as some long straights, including one called "horsepower hill" with a steep uphill grade the entire length. There's a Sunoco station about 8 min away with high test, and several convenient places to get food just minutes off property. Of every track in New England, one trackday was all that I needed for this to be my favorite! Can't...
Read more...sometime before his death, Paul Newman is supposed to have said: "If there is a heaven on earth, it is VIR.”. I've done a few motorcycle track days at VIR and it is a fantastic track; the facilities are very nice. I'm not Paul Newman, I don't play a clairvoyant on TV, and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night; but I think that had he had the chance to sample Club Motorsports (it was not built when he passed in 2008), he might have broadened his definition of 'heaven on earth'. IMHO, Club Motorsports is heads and shoulders above VIR is most every regard. The track surface, layout, and facilities are simply like nothing that I've experienced. Incredible. I'm so glad that Members/Owners share it with...
