Since this is the closest grocery store to where I live, I shop at it quite a bit. However, I am not extremely pleased with it for the following reasons:

The produce is awful and overpriced! Good luck finding a green pepper that looks like it was picked this month! And $3.99 a pound for apples?? My goodness! And once I bought a jalapeno pepper that had a live bug in it when I cut it open!

Overall, prices are more expensive than other food store. Yeah I could shop at Walmart or travel into Altoona for better prices at other grocery store chains, but they are more crowded and a further, out-of-the-way drive.

It seems every time I find a product I really like there, the store gets rid of it. They've done this to me with my milk, cereal, juice, tissues, etc. What I really enjoy is when I go to checkout, they ask you if I found everything okay. When I tell "no" and explain that my product isn't there anymore, they just tell me that sometimes the store stops carrying some items. Why even ask then?

There is no self-checkout line. Having one could be a HUGE time saver when I only need 3 items and and it's 4 in the afternoon when everyone is stopping to shop on their way home from work. The lines can get long at busy times!

There are some pluses here though. Generally, the staff is very pleasant and easy going. Also, the store is pretty clean. Finally I pass it on my way to and from work so it is convenient to shop there. That's actually probably the main reason...

Depending on the day it can be a pleasent experience or it can be a pain... Today we went in to get groceries and produce was a total mess products were minimal bakery was minimal the deli was closing up had meat wrapped and it was before 7 pm... The cashier was rude no greeting very pushy packed groceries horrible (put bread with 5 lb bag of fries... Put bottles of flavored water in a bag with hamburger... Put cheese on top of a container of eggs...) Didnt say anything about points just handed the receipt and while we was asking her a question still loading our things into the cart she started ringing up the lady who was next in line who just arrived and didnt have all her items on the belt yet!!!! By the time we got to the car the bday cake we got was messed up the bread was smashed an egg was broke and we was mad... We got home had to was the waters and there was a hole in the burger wrapper! 170$ for groceries to b put in a bad mood and irritated by being treated wrong... Not ok! Will be calling tomorrow to talk...

Very upset at the customer service I received here. I'm from out of town and was just passing through to grab water. Meant to buy 2 cases for 2/$9 and grabbed only one by accident for $8, i came right back in. Went to customer service, waited a while and told her I wanted to return and take 2 cases.

I also bought other items on sale and the nice cashier had scanned her card to get the sale pricing.

The customer service lady, probably the manager, refused to give me the sale price because I wasn't a card member, I offered to make a membership card. She noticed I didn't have anything on me and demanded an ID/license before signing me up.

I've signed up for supermarket rewards many times and have NEVER needed an ID.

She was probably too lazy to do the return and ring me up again. Probably never passing by again but inclined to leave review based on my wasted, unsatisfactory time...
