Wild Things Zoofari — Local services in Taylor

Animals were kept in a small enclosure on hot concrete at the Austin Crawfish Festival with no grass, shade or water. I was told they were going to get the animals water. The animals looked miserable. It was over 80F and this festival was held on a parking lot - the concrete was very hot. This is unacceptable. If you’re going to have a petting zoo then at least give these animals enough space, grass, shade, water and food. This is appalling. Edit to my review as a response to the owner: the black tub was empty and then taken out of the enclosure completely - that is when I was told they were getting water. It was over 80 F that day and felt way hotter due to the blasting sun and concrete. The animals looked despondent and did not interact with any of the people who were standing around. Sorry but I can’t imagine you are actually taking proper care of these animals because bringing straw or hay and giving them shade and water are minimum...

This petting zoo was a HUGE hit at my son's second birthday party. My son enjoyed it very much, and the two staff who came to facilitate were fabulous, great with the kids, and knowledgeable. Even the adults learned a lot and enjoyed themselves.

Watching Zoe (the cute wallaby) jump into her traveling pouch was the highlight of the day- most adorable thing ever!

It could not have been more PERFECT, a memory we will all treasure for a lifetime. I will be sure to think of this traveling zoo next year - so cool that they have a variety of packages to choose from.

We loved every minute. Oh, and I contacted Courtney less than 3 weeks before the party date because my other zoo I had booked cancelled on me. She really did us a huge favor by fitting us into their schedule. Which, I'm glad the other zoo cancelled, this one was far better :)

Courtney, with wildthings zoofari is amazing. I have always dreamed of getting to play with an otter. And they made my dream come true. We had the otter encounter in our home for my birthday. She brought izzy the otter and a handful of some of her cool friends. We had a small party of adults and she was able to let izzy out to play in the living room. She shared all kinds of cool knowledge about all of her animals . We met wallabies, a choclate skunk , spider monkey, south American armadillo kinkajou, two toed sloth and a finick fox. The whole experience was so cool. Definitely the best birthday experience I could have dreamed of. Izzy was so fun mischievous ,silly , Playful and sweet.
