Mexia Tree Farm — Local services in Teague

Disappointed with company. I visited with management back in February about purchasing a 65 gallon tree. The manager was informed and approved to sell me a tree even though I was not a wholesaler. We coordinated a date and time to pick up our tree. He was even going to have Diego meet me and my husband on a Saturday because we were travelling from so far; as long as we arrived prior to noon. The team member and I then decided to wait on the purchase until the fall to ensure the said tree was not the female version. (In the fall, if no berries form, the tree is the male version) Fast forward to 3 weeks ago and contacting said manager to be informed that he now is not able to sell me the tree because I am not a wholesaler. I am quite disappointed with a business that when times were tough in the thick of the pandemic, back in February, and desperate for sales that when contacted in the fall with business in full throttle to not honor ones word to sell one tree to a person that has been seeking a place to purchase said version of said tree for over 2 years. I not only think this is rude, but disrespectful. And, on top of all this, Gonzales would not even respond to my messages. They were just ignored as if he was merely waiting for me to just bail on...

I wouldn't do business here. If you hold ANY TREES they will charge you 20% if you don't proceed and it takes about 2 months to get the money back. Joe and his wife are horrible to do business with. There are many other tree farms without the BS of these...
