Let me start with the hot homemade rolls of goodness that were slightly salted on top… wow!! I didn’t mean to eat so many before my dinner was served. I had the chicken Fried Steak. It was crispy on the outside and sooooo tender on the inside. It was covered in a delicious white gravy and served with mashed potatoes or a baked potato. I got mashed and had no regrets. I also added a sierra vista salad that came with chicken. It was fresh and delicious. The greens were crisp with no iceberg which I appreciated. The apples where cut to order and the cheese and craisins added a delicious variety. The dressing served with the salad was a balsamic creamy dressing and was wonderful . Of course I had so many left overs I had 2 meals when I got home. The service was superb and if you have ever been in the lake Isabella / Weldon area in the spring then you know the views...

I have been here a few times, typically for a slice of meat which is pretty good. I've tried the clam chowder which I wasn't particularly thrilled about so I stick with salad. Most recently had fish and chips in the courtyard for dinner and I must say that it is as inviting outside in the patio area as inside. The lights, the water feature (which wasn't on but was still a pleasant vibe), the small creek bed, and privacy for each seating area added to the romance and ambiance to dinner. It was nice and cool but watch out for the gnats in the eve. There wasn't a lot, perhaps it was the time of day, but it was no deal breaker. 10 for beauty, comfort, and clean/rustic style. Super bummed out about the Prime rib last Friday night. Spent almost $100 for dinner on a 16 oz Prime rib for me and the wife to split. They stated there were 2 pieces left which was great, then they delivered the cold microwaved cut. Not juicy by any means. I wish it was discounted possibly due to the meat was not juicy or hot. It was supposed to be Medium rare, which it looked...... Just dry. I wish I could give them another shot, this was our 4th time coming in. Might have to try another Restaurant from here on. Also we were sitting there with another couple and we felt rushed out of the restaurant I'm not sure if they were closing earlier then their hours posted? We were the only people in there around 8:00 p.m. finishing...
