Awesome first time. New to precision shooting so I went for 100 yard confirmation zero and fiddled with my optics, chronograph, kestrel, range finder.

You will have to pick up any steel targets you shoot down so bring a truck, you'll be driving out past 200 yards.

Lastly if I remember right only green targets are for .338 Lapua and there aren't many.

Outstanding range with even better people. This is a long distance outdoor range that could really let you hone in your skills. They definitely take care of military and other service providers and it's run by people in the know. Vendors are always on site on Saturdays as well as gunsmiths. Safety is top priority and everyone to my right and left I honestly feel safe with because you just can tell that they're that type of people that know what they're doing out on a range, which sadly is getting harder to find these days. So if you're into throwing some lead down range do yourself a favor and head over to paula. Check their hours as they're open on certain days of the week to the public but the Price Is Right definitely affordable and well...

Just moved to this area recently and discovered this outdoor range that looks kind of janky but is actually a really great place to shoot if you like shooting outdoors. They sell ammo on Saturdays sans all the taxes and without showing ID. Just be warned that we had problems with their 9mm loads, which seemed to underpowered - we had issues with short stroking pistols that are normally rock solid. And the one box of Remington ammo that I bought from them had no issues. But I'm glad I found this place because now I'll shoot more regularly, even took my daughter for her second range session ever, got her behind her first centerfire semi-automatic rifle and...
