Johnson Brothers Ford — Local services in Temple

Im not normally a "write a review" kinda guy, but I had to brag about Johnson Bro's and their employees.

I was in the narket for trading in my vehicle for something a little smaller, with better gas mileage. I decided to test out a Chevy Colorado. After spending all day at Don Ringler Chevy, hitting roadblock after roadblock, and having your typical "bad car buying experience," I left the Chevy dealer and drove down the street and walked into Johnson Bro's Ford. I was immediately greeted at the door by a very nice woman (who's name I didnt catch), and was guided towards a salesman, Mike Moneyhun. Mike was super accommodating, incredibly knowledgeable, and very straight to the point. I told him exactly what I was looking for, a Ford Maverick, and he found multiple ones matching things I was looking for. No upselling, no convincing me to look at a more expensive vehicle or a vehicle I didnt want, no beating around the bush or lying. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the Maverick I was looking for because Mike actually owns Fords, and a Maverick at that. He was able to walk me through all the features and neat little things on the truck, but got me started on an appraisal and an offer sheet while we looked at a few different Mavericks.

Once I settled on the truck I wanted, Mike was quick to send my info to Terry Drummond in Finance. Terry came back very quick on an offer for the Maverick I wanted, while also showing me different offers for an F-150 as an alternative for different benefits as it related to my budget and what I was looking for. Not pushy, not convincing me to change what vehicle I wanted, simply offering it as a "Hey, if you're interested, here's an alternate offer." After I made my choice, Terry worked hard, and even late, to get the best deal on financing, and making it work the best for my budget and price range, which I absolutely got. Also, the included services in every vehicle sold are impossible to beat. The cherry on top was after the paperwork was signed and I was waiting for the completion of the detailing on my truck, I had to return the rental car I had to the rental location. Mike had a courtesy vehicle come pick me up at the car rental location, and it was waiting for me right when I walked out of the rental office.

I've been a lifelong MOPAR/RAM guy but thanks to Mike and Terry, they've got a new Ford customer, and eventually a return Ford customer. I really can't say enough good things about these guys and this dealership. Even if you aren't a Ford person, stop on by and have a chat with them and I promise you wont regret it. It took a while for me to gather the words to explain the absolutely phenomenal experience I had at this dealership&even still any words I try to use to explain does it no justice. As my husband and I approached the door we were eagerly met, by an older gentleman who offered us exactly what we needed after hours of car hunting mid summer, a nice cold beverage.Because I’m naturally an anxious person I was prepared to be met with the rushed/forced approach that we all typically feel at any dealership, but instead It felt like a warm welcome home. From that moment we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere was peaceful and our Dealer Jeff Womack was nothing short of amazing. Literally the coolest, calmest, and the most completely confident dealer I have ever encountered. He asked what we were looking for I told him abt one that was okay that I ran across online. I had personally given up on getting exactly what I wanted after the nasty experiences at a couple other car lots, I guess my spirit had been broken, not mention, we were pretty exhausted. After checking Jeff advised us that the vehicle I previously saw was no longer there, however another similar newer version had literally just been returned to the lot. That vehicle happened to be the exact truck I had been trying to get all along, I was speechless. The process got smoother by the minute, honestly I hate to sound weird, but for a split second felt like we had walked into some sort of angelic presence. Every part of the process was so peaceful and friendly, the experience literally felt other worldly, lol. I couldn’t even make up a story, that could compare to the experience that my husband and I encountered with this staff! After setting up meetings at other dealerships just to be stood up, embarrassingly ignored, and seemingly stereotyped before we could speak, I can only wish we had went to Johnson Brothers’ first. We’re a very hard working couple, from the swamp…so our accent/dialect, as hard as we try to clean it up, can cause people to underestimate us. But we are tenured Federal Employees/Veterans that have worked very hard to get where we are and only plan keep rising. Thank you Jeff Womack/Jeff(Finance) the sweet gentleman who greeted us at the door, and the Johnson Brothers Ford team for acknowledging our hard work and assisting us in our efforts to continue to upgrade in life. You have definitely gained new/loyal Ford family members for life in us, and we’re sending as many good people your way as we can to experience the great service that we know for a fact, can only be found at your dealership....

Bought a Navigator a week or so ago. Loving the car and overall I just appreciated not being toyed with or having to play silly games. I spoke with Eva over text on a saturday and set an appointment for a Monday afternoon. I drove up from Georgetown because I am not super excited about the dealer options in Austin, and I had a horrible experience trying to deal with Covert Cadillac that I have up on the idea of a GM vehicle (i had two before, but they spent a bit of time in the shop during the time I had them). My parents, and brother own Ford products and rarely have to touch it besides routine maintenance or a recall here or there. So I decided to try the Navigator out, and it is nice! I was driving an Audi A6 and wanted to get back to an SUV, and I had no idea what I was missing! I had Darren as my sales guy, and he was the best, super attentive at the right moments but then just left you alone to look things over and play around with it. Would drop by every 10 minutes or so once to drop some water, and then again to make sure we didn't have any questions. I knew it would never be easier to buy a car from a dealer than at this moment. Low pressure, no games, no haggling (why do some dealers insist on haggling) and it was just some paperwork and off the Finance with Grant. Grant was super pleasant, he was really laid back and not pushy on any of the upsells, I decided to go with the extended warranty because it was really a pretty good deal.

Overall this place was great, super attentive, professional, low pressure, upfront pricing... This is what it was meant to be when dealerships came around, but finding a place like this is not easy.

I'll be driving my car up for service since its only another 20 min out of the way, and I am hoping its as good an experience as the sales was!
