My family has been a long-time customer at Boot City. And they are happy to have you, as long as they are taking your money. The minute you need to do an exchange for manufacturers defect, they can't help you. Purchased new boots for me and my wife on a Sunday afternoon. Got the boots home, and noticed hers had loose stitching, and the leather was messed up at the top front. There was also a blemish in the leather on the inside-facing part of the boot, almost like a cut. Where the leather was definitely thinner. My wife hadn't worn them other than trying them on in the store. My wife called back the next day (Monday morning) to see about exchanging them. The lady told her yes, and if they didn't have the same pair on the shelf, they would see how long it would take to get in. So we went back this Saturday (6 days from purchase). The girl behind the counter said her manager was on vacation and would send her a picture of the boot. We thought that was odd. Her manager said it was hard to tell from the picture and for us to come back Tuesday. I explained to the girl between the 2 trips to the store we already had close to 5 1/2 hours in travel and wouldn't be able to come back on Tuesday. She said she couldn't help us. I've never seen a retail business not take back a manufacturers defect with receipt. My family will not ever be shopping...
Read moreI would give them negative if I could we traveled to this place to grab a pair of boots for my daughter at first the lady was NOT helpful at all but with some buttering up she at least helped us, got the boots and everything was great until a week later (to the day) and the sole is coming off the boots so I called them being we are not local and the response I got was well sorry to hear that but you will have to return the boots in person…… umm I’m 1.5-2 hours away!! I thought maybe I could ship them to this place but I guess not the lady said would have to be in person so they could inspect and decide if it was a defect or damage I explained we only had them for seven days and my daughter is 14 and not wearing them in the mud and working with them……..even if she was working in them they should last longer than seven days well anyway hopefully you read all the way through this so you can avoid a bad situation and bad experience that we had!!!!!!! Stay away from this place...
Read moreThe first time we went here was in June '24. They had a huge selection of boots and a decent selection of men's and women's clothes. We recently went back Jan '25. They still have a huge selection of boots but it seems as though they decreased their women's clothes by half. Men's clothes were still plentiful but every size Large of every shirt was sold out. All that was left in any shirt stylr was Small, XL, 2X or 3X. Aside from all that, this store is constructed of pole barns connected together. It was incredibly cold inside to the point I had to go get my coat from the car. The workers were even complaining about how cold it was. If you need cowboy boots, this is the place to go but be sure to go in the summer or bring a coat. If you need something other than boots,...
