I purchased my home knowing I would need to redo the driveway in the near future, but I was not expecting having to redo it within 2 years. It was apparent that the previous owners literally threw asphalt on top of dirt and never prepared the sub base; my driveway had become a complete nightmare with all the mud it was creating. Henry was recommended by one of my neighbor’s who used Henry and his team to do his driveway as well. I contacted Henry one day and he was literally out the next day to give me an estimate! His pricing was SO COMPETITIVE(!); I had previously contacted 5 other companies whose quotes ranged $5,000-$10,000 more than Henry was offering me. From the moment I agreed to move forward, him and his team were back out within a couple of days ripping everything up. Him and his team worked so professionally and efficiently including being careful with some trees I had planted to be able to replanted and cleaning everything up after the demolition. I requested my driveway to be pitched to a certain side and they were able to execute it successfully. I never enjoyed using my driveway before because I couldn’t use it with constant potholes that would filled with water and dirt to create mud. Henry came to my door and said he was in the neighborhood so he would offer me a deal. The price was okay and our driveway came out fine. The issue started when they he promised something he couldn't deliver.

Henry said they would be able to raise the driveway up to my front step. They didn't do it on the first go around. We mention it before they leave and he says they don't have enough material to come back but will get back as soon as possible to fix it. He called us that night to ask for payment and we mentioned the stairs again. He said his guys forgot. Two days later, they show up and dump a bunch of asphalt in front of the steps and tamp it down. What they said was "finished" was a lump-sided, uneven, mound of asphalt.

My wife texted Henry and he came over and told us that he didn't understand why his guys wouldn't do it to where he marked the line. He said that it was stupidity on his teams part. He then told us what we originally wanted really wasn't possible and he would need to pave another few inches onto a larger part of the driveway in order to grade it up to the stairs.
