Four States Fairgrounds Fine Arts Building — Local services in Texarkana

THIS IS FOR THE PARK :) My kids love the ducks and how clean it usually is, oh and the fact that there's 3 separate playgrounds. The only downside, and this isnt the parks fault at all, is when it gets busy it gets SUPER busy. Like insanely crowded, to the point where I have to dress my kids in bright colors and giant bows if it's a saturday afternoon and we're going to play, or another busy day. Me, and ALL the other parents absolutely freaking HATE that the bathrooms up front are always locked. Seriously, the ones by the slides! I've stopped checking at this point and just drive to the side with the dock and pavilion, because my youngest is 4 and there's no way I'm juggling the chances of it being open or closed when its 99.99999% of the time locked. I get why, but on super busy days when there will be tons of kids there, they need...

We Went Around 5:00, The Exhibits Are Smaller, The Fair Is Smaller, The Prices Are High On Almost Everything And Every Vendor The Ticket Price To Get In Is 10:00 There's Not Much To Do, Eat Or People Watch, Some Vendors We're Friendly, Some We're Really Rude. There Was Not Lines To Any Attractions, Except For The Children's Rides. There Is Good Security Inside Overall I Think They Need To Change Carnival Companies, We Could Hear A lot Of People Complaining About How Small The Fair Is. And It Was, Took Us 30 Minutes To Walk Around, Look, Get Something To Eat And Make It Out The Gate. Very Disappointed At Prices, Some Vendors, Higher Prices, Smaller Fair Need Security In The Parking Lot As Well, A Fight And Shooting Occurred That Night In The Parking Lot. With Families Walking...

Security this year is really pushing to make it a family friendly place. No unsupervised hooligans running around. No provocative clothing or huge women wearing 6 sizes too small clothes. Aside from the shooting in the parking lot the other night, it's completely safe. They even turned people away that had dogs who were not in a service vest and undocumented. Where else can you get your deep fried oreos and turkey legs? The workers didn't look to be on meth still had most of their teeth and more than half spoke some English so there's that.. yep things are sure looking up for TK who knows we might one day get the zipper ride back.
