White glove service here. Gwen is very personable, helpful, and very transparent. My family of 6 came down for Memorial weekend. The weather was variably windy and that limited our ability to rent the pontoon boat. We were scheduled in the morning on Saturday but Gwen advised us we would not be able to go right at 9 due to the winds. Every hour on the hour, she stopped by to update us. Unfortunately we were not able to go at all in the morning. At around 2:30 she came back by and told us we could rent the boat for 2 hours later in the day, bare in mind the wind continues to be favorable. We were in luck! The wind calmed enough for us to take the boat out at 5 and return by 7. Normally the boat rental is 4 hours, but Gwen extended to us a courtesy special schedule so we could at least enjoy it half the time. We are so thankful for her accommodation. Everything else was great! Fishing off the shore is good. We caught mostly bass. My only complaint is the cabins are advertised to accommodate 6 people. We had 5 adults and 1 teenager. I believe for this, we would have been more comfortable with only 4 people. The beds upstairs are twin sized, so only 2 people upstairs. 2 people in the bedroom downstairs. 2 people left to share the futon couch-bed. Other than that, great fun to relax and enjoy the lake with family. I...

Since my original post our family has returned to Willow Point every summer since. We take advantage of being able to reserve the same block of time the following year before checking out. As our family has grown, we now book the Lake House. The cabins are great, but now that we have 15-20 ish people the lake house just makes more sense. We love all the seating areas and privacy the lake house offers. We have everything we need in one spot. Gwen and Bryan are responsive, welcoming, and ensure you have a comfortable stay. We usually rent jet skis and this year we added on the pontoon boat and kayak. It was all very easy to reserve.
Our family loved our time at Willow Point Resort. We chose to stay in the cabins by the lake. We swam, fished, canoed, relaxed, grilled, and rented a boat for one of our days there. We never had to pack up our belongings and haul it somewhere because the lake is right there. The owners came by a couple of times as well and were very kind and helpful. We already booked our vacation for next summer! Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy boyfriend and I went for the weekend and it exceeded our expectations. I could write an essay about how great this place was, but Iāll just my top 3 favorite things about the Willow Point Resort:
The hospitality was unmatched. I was looking for hot tea during the continental breakfast because of my horrible allergies and a staff member heard me and went to HEB the same day so that I could have some for the next morning. They also let us stay an hour later than check out, so that we could canoe one last time before hitting the road. There is so much to do on the lot. Tons of lawn game options, lots of water activities, and private beach areas. The cabins were clean, well equipped, and cozy! There were a few spider webs on the bed, we were a little concerned about, but nothing too crazy. Itās lake living, not the Hilton!
I want to write more, just because of how great Gwen and her team were, but hopefully you make it out there yourself to experience it! Well worth the money and drive. We canāt...
