I stopped be Walmart in Theyer, MO. today. I noticed the flag had broken free of a grommet & was flapping & torn. I called this to the attention of an associate who thanked me & said it would be taken care of. As I left about thirty minutes later I noticed the situation was not corrected. I returned to the store & was directed to the manager who looked like he had slept in his clothes & might struggle to spell MANAGER. His complacency was apparent by the smirk on his face. He said higher management elsewhere would need to correct the situation. He added with a smirk that ā€œnot all of us are Veterans; nor should we have to deal with attitudes from those who are.ā€At this point I was beyond pissed off. He told me I would need to leave the store. (Good thing for him I was obviously the only Veteran in the store at that time) Pathetic that a business founded in Arkansas & America enjoying the success that they do can’t hire managers capable of doing anything more that giving excuses for standing around with thumbs up their ass. Sam Walton would have ā€œno doubtā€ fired him on the spot. But then, Sam sold American made products; not relying on selling Americans cheaply made junk from China at huge profits. Walmart wants us to check ourselves though the line without a cashier while the are several employees standing around (making pretty good wages) socializing ( I was wanting to purchase a $30.00 tree in the garden section. One of the girls behind the (do nothing counter) told me I would need to go outside and take a photo or write down the bar code for that item for my purchase… 😔 I told her I have a idea… Why don’t you do that! I had to go to Walmart again a few days later… I asked the cashier… Do you have any idea why I come to Walmart from time to time?? So I can remind myself how much I hate coming to Walmart!!! Jerry F. Canfield...

Prices are mostly lower than average but that's not where they fail. My personal problem with Walmart is the way they do business. For example when you go to check out you have an employee standing nearby watching the self checkout registers which is fine. You scan all your purchases while being under a close eye of an employee sometimes 2 and by all means use as many as you want. Here's my problem after all the process of checking yourself out, bagging your own purchases, and placing them in your cart all the while under close supervision there's another employee sometimes 2 standing in the entrance/exit asking for your receipt to once again confirm your purchases looking through your bags. My opinion is if you want me to do you're job by checking my own purchases as well as bagging them after being under a close eye as well as being under surveillance why should you have the right to stop me on my way out to inspect the purchases you've already watched me ring up, bag, and pay for. I feel that at that point the items in my cart are mine and I do not give you authority to touch, inspect, or confirm my purchased items. If you feel the need to act as if everyone is dishonest or a thief then take out the self checkout registers and do...

The smallest Walmart I've ever walked into in my life they had absolutely nothing for camping and for float trip that wasn't just generic everyday stuff. When you come from out of state you want to Walmart that's got enough supplies ,to supply you on the trip. so therefore you don't weigh your car down traveling in those mountainous areas and wasting gas, but no this Walmart was small enough to put in my pocket the aisles were so close you could not get too buggies down it and the staff was not friendly at all on the exception of one lady that tried to help me but didn't know exactly where anything was. My suggestion is if you're in this area you better have everything you need because the place is geared for rafting but the stores are not...

Neat and orderly. Fairly easy to navigate and product is in stock most of the time, even with the pandemic happening. Jimmy Huff is a great team lead! He is always really kind and excellent worker. Very helpful and gives the store a sense of hospitality as well as peace. Emily is also another team lead that is kind and always smiling! Makiya, Brittney, Courtney, Cecily, and Kaycee are my favorite cashiers. They all make me glad to shop there and continue to. Thank you to those employees specifically and all others that make the store a enjoyable place.

This is a scaled down version of Walmart, not quite a Supercenter but not quite a Neighborhood Market either. The store was clean and well organized. Like many Walmarts now, customers are directed to mostly self-checkout although there were some lanes with cashiers. It was easy to get in and out of the store and there was plenty of parking.
