Not allowing people to bring their own water bottles, then charging $1.50 per bottle of water, is such a rip off. If they want people to stay healthy and visiting their rink they need to install a drinking fountain and/or a water bottle refill station, and allow you to bring a water bottle. If they're so worried about getting money out of people, raise the entry fee and provide free water. When they were asked if they would do a free fountain water, they said, "No, just like the movies." and then when we told them that the movies has free water, they said, "Well, we're not the movies."
Not only are they willing to let their patrons suffer from dehydration while doing a very physical and straining activity, they also are a cash only business. Which is a pain but can be worked around.
The rink is overall well kept, but the rink isn't cooled other than by large fans that are all blowing into the building, meaning that there isn't any air flow or hot air being pulled out of the rink.
The bathrooms are across the entire rink, meaning that even if you're not in your skates you have to potentially put yourself in the way of on comming traffic. The insides of the bathrooms are also not ideal, there are no support poles, meaning if you do try to use the bathroom without talking off your skates you're risking injury. So either way the bathrooms are dangerous. Not to mention the last visit (5/11/25) the bathroom was completely out of soap, the hot water didn't work at all, and the sink is a push to operate, which is already a frustrating system when you're on stable ground, which is even more difficult whilst in skates.
I've grown up going to this rink, and I am disappointed that they have such a disregard for the health and safety of their customers, I was willing to ignore the other issues I've had while coming here, but the fact that the options they provide are to either dehydrate and put myself at risk or spend $1.50 every time I need a drink of water.
I don't know if I'll be returning in the future because of how upset this has made me. I'm looking for other rinks to give my...
Read moreIf you want to roller skate in the immediate area this is your only option. The rental skates seemed to be in good condition, and the floor was smooth. It can get a little crowded, but I'm glad they are doing good business so they can stay open.
I did feel that they had too many "something only" periods which kind of cuts into the skating time especially when you consider there are also games. Maybe limit it to a few of these (ex. kids only, adults only, numbers game). It's also not always clear what is happening with the not so...
Read moreThe staff is extremely kind and friendly. We had a lot of first time skaters in our group and the staff was kind enough to show everyone the ropes and held a lot of hands the whole time!
The website doesn’t mention that they don’t accept cards and they don’t have an ATM so that was really inconvenient. There’s also no AC so it’s was overwhelming hot. I tried calling them and texting them a couple times prior to us going but no one answered.
Otherwise it was a great experience. I would go back in the fall time and make sure to take...
