I love going to Bowers lumber. So far they've always had what I needed and if it wasn't for them I would never have been able to get my grandmother's house ready for sale. When my saw broke twice they cut everything for me. Who does that. Anyways they trimmed out the old lake house with their wood because their boards were longer and less expensive to buy. Absolutely the best place if you want to find straight Lumber. I've been buying from Bowers for 25 years. Peewee and Daniel is absolutely the best most intelligent two people you will ever see. All of the guys that work out in the yard are wonderful. You don't have to look for straight Lumber they do it for you. When you pull in there Lumber yard you look at it like oh my god what the hell is this place, don't let that fool you. Great place, if I could give them a 10+ I would. Bowers is a great place, and much more convenient than the big chain store. No crowds to deal with and the guys who work there actually know something about construction. They sell hard to find items and have access to custom millwork. Although the store has been around since the 1930's they stay up to date with modern building methods.
