Cedar Lodge Market — Local services in Thomasville

I am shocked to see that there is only one review on Yelp for this establishment and it’s from 11 years ago! I have lived in NC (until a recent move to AL) since 1988 and this store has been here the entire time. I just looked it up and it’s been family owned and operated since 1963!!! I do know the (Wayne) Shuler Family now owns it and that’s a wonderful family. I rented from Wayne for 8 years and he’s a stand-up, good man with integrity.

The grocery store offers the convenience of a small town store but the variety of larger stores. You can get home grown tomatoes, a fresh bouquet of flowers and everything in between!

My wife went into the store on October 19th to buy some chicken because she was recommended by a family member to go to cedar lodge. We later discovered that the chicken she had bought had been packed on MARCH 29TH. She went back to simply exchange the meat because it was a mistake. The manager then proceeded to imply that my wife was lying despite her having the receipt that she had purchased it that day. After he realized that he was in the wrong he exchanged the chicken for a fresh cut for free. First and last time we'll...

A family owned and operated store thats changed hands once but continues to be locally and family operated....
