I have been following them on Instagram for months, so I was very excited to finally visit with my mother. Walking in a customer leaving toting a wagon full of plants warned me no to go on, that it was a trap. She was right. As soon as we walked past the entrance sign we were greeted by a beautiful butterfly. This is truly an enchanted place. Absolutely gorgeous grounds with such a relaxing atmosphere. The plants look well cared for with a nice balance of structured care and nature.
I've been looking for a local nursery to start frequenting instead of box stores. This place is wonderful if you're looking for something specific that might not be readily available other places. The prices are fitting for the quality, not too high not too low. THEY HAVE FOXFARM SOIL. Buying local and supporting local businesses has become a priority during the pandemic so i am willing to drive the extra mile.
I applaud the hardworking people, such as the informative and helpful people outside. Unfortunately my cashier was a bit rude. I'm usually so excited for my new plant purchases but checking out I felt I was a bothersome. It was a frustrating and hurried end to an otherwise pleasant outing. I am a bit sensitive but I realize I've become used to the excited Lowe's garden center cashier who is always excited about a new garden find. I didn't realize this brief courteous exchange gave me a new plant parent confidence boost.
I will always love this enchanted place but I will try going to the...

I'm super glad they are open on Sunday. Came here for a few bags of nutrient rich compost, some organic fertilizer, and some potting soil. I love the selection of plants, and gave been able to find many of my old favorites as well as some new ones. I like the peppers, fruit trees, moss, herbs, and great little rock scenes. I even found a pineapple that bore a nice sized fruit. There is always something unique and seasonal. I can pretty much get everything I need here. The only thing I wish they had was a bigger selection of organic fertilizer like bone meal, seabird and bat guano, blood meal etc. I am glad they have work castings, mushroom compost and a great pellet organic fertilizer mix. They also have great soils like happy frog, Fox farm, and ProMix. The ProMix seems like a competitive high quality potting soil for the price. It has peat moss and pearlite to add air and water retention...
Read moreWe have been going to Enchanted Forest for well over 20 years. Over that time, we have had nothing but good experiences with it. It is a family run operation. They take great pride in providing good customer service. Whenever we have a question, we know who to turn to for an answer. I was out there today just to photograph their displays. While there, I saw Clay helping answer questions for several customers.
We have found the plant quality and selection to be very good. They have a good selection of organic and chemical products to take care of the plants and control diseases / pests. They also have a very good selection of pots and other containers. They will also sponsor free classes at different times of the year for gardening.
This nursery is so much better than the chain nurseries or big box stores. It may not be the most convenient nursery but it is well...
