I am eternally grateful to my friend’s wife for referring me to Impact Family Wellness, Thorndale. Dr Courtney is the smartest, most kind-hearted, adaptable, yet down to earth doctor I’ve had the pleasure to know. She is transparent with her assessments and very practical in her prognosis. She is one of the “Good Gal’s” a doctor that is truly caring for and trying her best to heal her patients. In my experience with the dozens of doctors that I have seen, it’s a rarity to find a doctor that truly wants to heal her patients completely and who is willing to give as much focus and time on and off the clock as is needed to get the best result for her patient and her patient’s family as is humanly possible. It’s about as ironically difficult as finding Organic fruit or real whole food vitamin’s at certain grocery store’s, and about as rare as finding a good mechanic or any tradesman that is not a crook. She did a lot of looking and pulled a few strings to give me an opportunity to have some very expensive tests that I could not afford done through a program that I didn’t technically qualify for because I was too young. Doctor Courtney Paulsen has been, without a doubt, the best doctor that I have ever had! Which can attest, I would assume, to the caliber of all the other ladies that are a part of the full Impact Family Wellness organization; namely because I’m without a shadow of a doubt positive that a lady like Dr Paulsen, would not represent or be represented by an organization that isn’t congruent to or at the least striving to keep up with the amount of good-willed excellence that she strives for everyday. In a selfless effort to offer her patients the best case they have at recovery ❤️‍🩹 Miss Shelby Leonard is the Thorndale behind the scenes magic, who makes it all happen. She is on point with every facet of the administration in the Thorndale office. As if before she even finishes her sentence, telling me what she is about to throw together and will be sending over, my phone vibrates and it’s already sent. She is an 11/10 in every sense of the expression! She is extremely professional and when I bring my children to the office she is amazing the way that she speaks to them and makes them feel like grownups. Really both these ladies are clearly Angels sent by God to make their clients lives hurt a lot less! True Masters of their crafts individually but, as their patient, you can feel the synergistic energy that comes from these two Masters working in unison towards their common goal; namely to make your life better! It is truly amazing to be one of their common goals and it is why not a word in this review is fluff but rather I had to cut all the flattery and fluff out to make sure my review might help someone who is questioning the billing structure and other concerns which at first were very big concerns of mine. So much so I almost didn’t even give them a second look. I am unimaginably glad that I did and I’m certain you will be too. My husband and I both are members of Impact Family Wellness. I could not be happier with the individualized and extremely personal care we receive from Courtney Paulsen in Thorndale, TX. She is hands down the best family care provider I've ever been to. This concept is so very affordable we actually pay less per month for our membership based care for both of us than one month of insurance for just my husband and we can both go see her as many times as we need during the month with NO ADDITIONAL COPAY!!! For someone with chronic illness issues this has saved me so so much money. The lab is on site and the pricing for labs is so inexpensive with many test costing less than a cup of Starbucks coffee. They work with a local radiology service for x-rays that are absolutely incredible prices, with Many of them being less than 100.00! They also have programs they can refer you to for financial assistance on many procedures I swear these guys are amazing!!! I personally have Medicare and still prefer to pay for a membership through Impact Family Care simply because of the amazing service their medical professionals provide. I can actually communicate with My provider (not a nurse) via text message any time during business hours and she will always get back to me to answer a my questions instead of asking me to schedule an appointment and have to take time to come in and see her just to get an answer. I love that if she is busy a member of her staff will reach out and assure me that she will get back with me with an approximate ETA. The care is so personal and extremely professional at the same time. I do keep my medicare for medical emergencies such as hospitalizations and possible surgeries that cannot be provided in any doctors office. I questioned the concept of membership based medical care at first but I swear by it now and will not change my care back to a traditional doctor office setting ever again. Very impressed with Impact Family Wellness! My Dad recently became a member and I joined him for appointments and helped him navigate seeing a provider after 20 years! Their services provide great value and are easy to navigate. Kimberly Flores (Thorndale) is kind, competent, and respectful. She’s been amazing; helping my Dad understand and navigate his lung diagnosis. She connected us with diagnostics and specialists for the advanced care he needed.
