Catoctin Furnace Liquors — Local services in Thurmont

My husband and I moved to Harper's Ferry and have been looking for a place like this everywhere. The liquor stores around us are dirty, smell weird and I feel like they just are very sketchy. Not this place!

We were so excited to find Catoctin Furnace Liquors. When you walk in you are greeted by the cutest friendliest puppies. They have such a clean store and a great selection. We drived 45 minutes to come back here the other day. The owners and everyone in the store are super friendly and helpful as well. We will continue to drive up here to get alcohol whenever we need it. We are thankful you guys are open! :) Your store is so beautiful you guys did such a good job laying it out.

PS. To the mean commenter about the masks. Why do you have to go out of your way to write a bad review bc someone wasn't wearing a mask? If you don't feel safe that is on you. When I went into the store everyone was wearing their masks. It is a shame people have to be that uptight about masks these days they care more about government practice than supporting...

So great to see a small business bring life back to an "old" store on the mountain and return it to MORE than it's former glory! They did an amazing job with the restoration and rehab, selection is outstanding for a "local" spot and the people who work and help out there really care about the people shopping.
