Knott Athletic Recreation Convocation Complex — Local services in Thurmont

First time here today for a basketball game. Nice facility. One staff member in particular needs some work. I went to an enterance that turned out to be for a performing dance crew, I didn't know, I was just following people. Anyway, I got to the entrance and overhearing a conversation about it being for the dance team, I asked to confirm that it wasn't a main enterance, where the main entrance was, politely and professionally. In response, instead of answering my question, the staff member said "what?" and made the most disgusted expression. Her face was so screwed up and distorted. I will likely return, but those interfacing with the public at any point in the facility need to be trained on how to properly and effectively do so.

The ARCC definitely has all the equipments and facilities needed for a great gym. From cardio & strength machines, to tennis courts and a awimming pool, to football and soccer fields, tje ARCC has everything you need for a workout and recreation. The facility was well maintained. Clean and well-lit on the inside. I attended for a high school graduation and the staff. They had the county sheriff, facilitating and moving traffic in and out as best. They could be aware that when exiting.
