Update
First class well managed organization. While I had issues listed below and was very frank with my review, the company went out of their way to make things right. It’s not the mistakes made, it’s how they are handled after the fact. The upper management of the company truly cares for their customers satisfaction.
Let me start by saying that I have for years always praised Agri Supply and even begged them to build a store closer to me. However with that being said, I may NEVER buy from them again. I recently drove over 100 miles to pick up some parts and thus begins the travesty of issues. First visit I went to pick up some hydraulic parts in Tifton. I asked someone for help matching parts to save time looking. I had the old cylinder and hose with me. I got an older lady that was very rude and seemed put out to try and help me sort through their scattered bins to match parts. She then tried to give me a galvanized fitting as one of the parts. Everyone knows that you can't use galvanized with a hydraulic system. I told her that galvanized is not recommended for hydraulics and she responded, "Do you not speak english" its NPT in the same size as your fitting. I put it back and scrounged around until I found a swivel fitting that worked.
Second visit (In this series) I took a PTO shaft in to match a shaft and yokes. I got a nice younger guy and told him that I needed the inner shaft, U-Joint and yokes to get me to my tractor. He quickly found the parts and loaded them in my buggy. I drove back. Well I had one yoke that was correct and one that was the wrong series. The receipt had the correct number but i received the wrong yoke. I'm over 100 miles away and needed the correct yoke desperately. I then called the Statesboro store (after losing faith in the staff in Tifton) and talked to a gentleman and gave him the shaft and yoke numbers that were CORRECT (both the receipt sku numbers and the ones stamped on the parts). I also gave him the number off of the INCORRECT quick connect. He walked to the bins to physically match the part numbers to make sure they fit. I reiterated "You're sure that yoke will fit my shaft and yoke"? He said i have it in my hand assembled now. Okay - I ordered it from customer service and paid extra for 2 day shipping as my 10ft bush hog is down and I need it. Well I received the yoke yesterday and yep it was still wrong. I'm well over $150 into parts that won't fit my implement and still don't have what I need to get it running again. I am not a happy customer right now to...
Read moreThis place is Amazing. Even though I grew up in a farming community in Middle Georgia I had never heard of Agri Supply or knew such a place existed. I needed parts for the 60-in estate mower that came with the new house my wife and I just bought. I did some searching online and it turned out this place called Agri Supply seemed to have the parts for the exact model that we have. So I googled it and found there was an actual location near us in Tifton and Valdosta. We prefer Tifton over Valdosta so we decided to come here and check it out. When we walked in the door our minds were blown! This place is like Sam's club but for tractors and farming. You would be hard-pressed to not find the part you need here at Agri Supply. There's literally so much to look at You can't take it all in at once. I got help from a lady that works there and I could not believe how knowledgeable she was. She was instrumental in us finding the correct parts that we needed. Turns out she's the store manager. I've never encountered a store manager that was so helpful with the customers! We are quite pleased with the service and the parts that we've received and will continue to shop here in the future.
Still shopping here and...
Read moreWe had an unfortunate wheel bearing failure on our way home from picking up our boat after having some warranty repairs on the boat itself. We had just gotten on I75 North Bound in Tifton. I was flagged down by two passing motorist and alerted to the problem. We pulled off and found out that one wheel/axle had failed. I was told where i could have the repairs made locally and I limped to the shop. The shop removed the hub and sent me to Agri Supply to retrieve the necessary parts. Having been it the trailer business for several years, I know how hard it is to find the parts to make this repair. Agri Supply had every item necessary and Don was helpful in making sure I had the correct bearings, races and seals I needed. I also was overwhelmed by everything this store carried and from what I saw, mostly reasonably priced. It was a great experience and we will make sure to stop in when we are back in the area...
