sir you are calling your customers liers. Stop making excuses and admit your company lies to customers about prices, i was about to use your service and now that i talked to ryan and confirm that you guys charge different price than what you post on ebay, i think im going with different company. REPLY to Your Reply, i am covering my info because i do not want it to go public. this is clearly your receipt. I used to be one of your customers for quite a while. We can both agree that this receipt is yours. You can not be calling people liars HOW COME IM NOT YOUR CUSTOMER BUT I ATTACH YOUR INVOICE ?

They sent me back my ecu and said it was repaired 3 times. It never worked correctly. Bought a used working one and car runs like a sewing machine. Tech told me they don't have the proper equipment to test ecus that's how they keep prices low. I will not use again. These never did clean the corrosion off the board. They left a ton of flux on the board also. Some of the solder connections we not even completely soldered. Some how my original review was deleted.

Fixed my ECU/DME for my 2001 BMW 740IL. Dealership wanted $1800 too replace the ECU, Sia was able to replace the plug that was causing the problem for a fraction of the cost! We are so happy with the service, the car runs like new again. I would recommend this for anyone having a problem with their car's brain, it's definitely worth a try, because it worked for me. Here's a photo of the plug they replaced, I'm not sure how they did it.

I sent in my ECM after sending my vehicle to the dealership to have a problem diagnosed, I was told by the dealership the cause of my coils burning up and leaving me stranded was the ECM had shorted. I had the dealership replace my wiring harness plugs coils and wires rather than buying a new ECM I decided sending it off for repairs would be more cost effective than buying one from the dealer, good idea right? No. Absolutely not. The diagnosis determined that 3 controllers in the ECM had shorted, and caused my problem. I sent my ECM to this lovely company and got silence for almost 4 weeks until I called and asked for an update, I was told that 1 controller was bad and that it would be fixed and sent back too me within the week. Almost 4 weeks passed and I called back and was told it was sent back the week prior to my phone call and that 1 controller was replaced and that all was well (even after having already verified 3 were bad) and it had been tested and was good to go. All good right? I received it in the mail 4 days after my last call brought it to my dealer and had it installed. Cars running fine, they checked my new harness wires and coils at the dealership and all was supposedly fine. Made it about 50 miles down the road before I smelled it. Popped my hood and sure as can be 2 coils looked as though they had been baked in a oven on high for the last hour. I immediately have it towed back to the dealership, and this time I watch the technician diagnose the issue. They installed 2 new plugs and coils and start working their way back. Everything checked out fine until we got to the ECM, constant power coming from the ECM. Causing the coils to overheat and essentially melt. Called SIA while at the dealership had them speak to the technician who looked over my vehicle who in turn spoke to the technician who did the repair. (Mike I believe) who in his own words said “I remember working on that board this sounds like a faulty repair on my end” he than apologized and I was sent back to the desk lady who prompted me to send the board back in to be fixed once more. Sent it back, two weeks pass and I hear nothing so I call. I am then told my board is beyond repair and it was in the mail back to me. I asked about a warranty and was given the run around and eventually hung up on. Received my trash ECM and sent it off to another company I was referred to and was treated very respectfully and told it was absolutely unrepairable. And that I should look into the warranty I was promised so I did. After getting the run around again I was sent to the next lady up the line. 30 minutes on the phone with her and I was sent up again, to a very polite gentleman named Scott who within 60 seconds of our conversation insulted my intelligence and made comments about how he should not be on the phone with “know nothing common man who uses a dealership to fix his problems” and hung up on me. I feel so disrespected and treated so poorly by the management of this business I will be filing a report to the business relations department of the state in Illinois and as I’m sure you can tell by reading this. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - side note, I love the comment from the owner on this review. Considering this account doesn’t hold my real name. And aside from knowing exactly what I’m talking about they’d have no way of knowing what...

Beware you may get ripped off. On top of that if you are looking for any type of customer service look somewhere else. Leslie “telephone operator”, Kevin “repair guy”, and “manager” Scott was very rude over the phone and acted very tuff over the phone from miles and miles away. I got mocked and made fun of over the phone after they lost my expensive part. I not only feel ripped off but humiliated and disgusted for having to deal with people like this. Read more for my full story. This is current as of 03/02/2016. I’m not the only one that had issues with these same people.

I have a 2003 Chevy S-10 that needed a new ABS module. My mechanic told me that if I were to purchase a new one it had to be the same part number that was on the original unit that is specific to the VIN of my truck.

After searching for weeks for a rebuilt/used ABS module I could not come across one with the same part number I had, there were only OEM new ones for $1000+. I however seen many “common” type ABS modules for sale for very cheap on ebay and they were for the same year and model of my truck Chevy Blazer/jimmy/S-10 and were very cheap in comparison $100-$200, but the part numbers were different and I could not use them.

This is when I decided to go with SIA Electronics. I purchased through Ebay and followed their online instructions. I sent in my ABS module and they sent be back a “common” rebuilt module with a different part number than my original unit. It does not work with my truck. And I’m out of my $1000 original unit.

I emailed SIA electronics explaining the mix up in part numbers and requesting that they send me my original part back not a cheap refurbished “common” unit.

I then called SIA electronics and was treated very rudely and like idiot. They acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about at all and the ABS modules for that year of truck were interchangeable and the unit they sent would work. I then sent pictures showing the difference in the plug in on my truck and the incorrect unit that they sent me (there is clearly a difference) I also sent pictures of the VIN number on my truck and told them they could do a VIN search to verify that they sent me the incorrect part.

Scott the “manager” then got on the phone with me and proceeded to tell me that I was trying to rip them off and they would not send me my original part. I don’t want to go into too many details of what Scott was saying to me and how he was acting because it really rubs me the wrong way, but, let just say it would make anyone want to kick his little butt for it.

If you have an expensive part that needs to be rebuilt do not sent it to SIA electronics. They will steal your expensive part and send you a chap knock off and you will be screwed.

And to Scott the “manager” if you want to insult me and act tuff over the phone I would love to meet you in person and see how tuff you are then. I’ve never given a company my business and money and been treated the way I did by the big man Scott and his team.

If I was the business owner Scott, Kevin, and Leslie would be searching...

Sent my ECU for my Audi to Sia. About 3 weeks later I was called back saying it was repaired. They requested my credit card info and sent it back to me. It was back the next day. I was very happy to get it installed and have my car back on the road. After installing it and trying to start it I got nothing. I was getting a security issue and a no start. I called Sia back to see what was done and to see if they did any programming that would cause a security issue. The tech I spoke to on the phone said they did testing on my unit and saw no issues but since I told them I was getting no voltage to the coils they replaced that chipset, even though there was no issue with it. So instead of charging me the hundred dollars for no issue they charge me the full 230 something to replace a part that was not even broke. After taking my time troubleshooting, I noticed a blown out ECU fuse. I replaced the ECU fuse. I noticed as soon as I plugged in the repair ECU, it will pop the fuse. There was some short internally in the ECU now. I called them back and they said to send it back to them and they would expedite it. I sent it in on Saturday. They received it Monday. I called them Monday and they said there was no notes to expedite it. I waited two weeks with no word. Tried to call them for the last week. The first time I called, I was told to hold and after holding for five minutes, they hung up on me. i’ve called about 5 to 10 times after that with no answer. Left voicemail for them to call me back and we will see what the outcome is. So far they had my ECU about a month and I still don’t know what the issue is if they were communicating with me, it would make it a little better, but with them not answering the phone it is worrying me.

Edit:

Now they are telling me it is not reparable. It had a coil pack chip issue when it was sent to them. After their “repair” it will not work at all. I’m waiting for a word back from the supervisor for a refund and a return of my ECU. Now I’m looking at about $1000 for a new ECU after this company repair to mine. I will keep this post updated when I hear back from them.

Edit 7/10

I finally received the ECU back. After opening it up the chip that they replaced completely smoke the board. Burn the chip and chips around it. After reaching back out to them, I finally got a hold of somebody other than a secretary. He says that replacing the chip will not cause this issue. Even though when they receive the unit, the technician told me there was no issues and he replaced the chip anyway. After getting in contact with other companies, they advise the only way this would be burnt up like this would’ve been the wrong chip use or in proper soldering. SIA said they will only refund me at $230 that I paid. Now I have to pay close to $1000 for a replacement ECU due to improper repairs by this company. I highly recommend looking at the reviews before sending any...
