BEWARE of this seller! I wish I could write a positive review, but I simply cannot.

My tubers arrived in good condition, but one was blind. I potted it up to see if it would grow and got nothing except for a snarky email that said I “voided my warranty by pre-planting.” That’s just a way for an unscrupulous seller to keep your money after sending out an inferior product. Despite several emails, MARK HARVEY refused to offer a refund or a replacement. He stated the tuber had rotted. FALSE: it was solid, just had no eye, which is how I received it.

MARK HARVEY refused to accept responsibility for sending out a bad product. Look at his reviews carefully before purchasing. Several people have had good experiences, MANY have not. (Of course, if you’re looking at a website that he’s the administrator of, he can self-servingly omit your negative comments.)

This farm has a history of defrauding its customers by sending out tubers that are not viable, victim blaming, and defrauding you of your money. Past behavior is a good predictor for future behavior; sadly, MARK HARVEY will continue to operate this way.

There are PLENTY of other wonderful suppliers out there. In my experience, MARK HARVEY, DBA: Old House Dahlias is NOT one of them....

I am very impressed with Old House Dahlias quality and integrity when it comes to blooms and dahlia tubers. My mom and I had a great time visiting there last fall on our way through Oregon. I ordered some tubers - - - there were so many varieties to choose from, and many that nearby large competitors don't offer. The tubers arrived this spring well packaged and in perfect condition. Life circumstances caused me not to be able to plant my tubers until early July this year. Yeah....ACK!!! My tubers were all waiting to see the dirt in a cool dark place (the garage). Of all of the tubers I had purchased to plant this year, Old House Dahlias tubers held up the best by far! Even though they were shipped to me in the spring, they didn't shrivel up and dry out, they didn't rot or bolt up with crazy shoots......they were just perfect! I believe it shows all of the hard work and care that went into them from digging, dividing, storing, shipping, etc. Do not hesitate to buy from Old House Dahlias. The price is right, the customer service is excellent and the quality...

I have to take the time to compliment the beautiful tubers i recieved from Old House Dahlias. They were super big and eyes were waking up. I do know from experience that bigger doesnt mean better...as small tubers root faster. The dahlia stock for most love big tubers. I appreciate the quality and early delivery....
