This is a great country store from old times. The front is set up as a gas station store with several tables in the back. There is a plate lunch you can choose or get something from the menu. I had the regular pulled pork sandwich with the baked beans. Loved the pork. It was tender and not a lot of fat on it. The bun was a yeast roll. They had hand cut fried union rings and burgers to die for. This is a great place to take the kids. You can tell this is a good place to eat because it was packed when we got there and only thinned our after about an hour after we got there. The owner was great and visited with the people eating checking to make sure everything was good. Thanks for a great experience. Would definitely go back. Wear your shorts and grab some fish bait and tackle as you leave and enjoy a nice day of fishing too. A nice Sunday afternoon...
Read moreI came in today and ordered 3 roast beef sandwiches I paid 4.50 per sandwich when I got to the farm I had 3 sandwiches with 1 piece roast beef 1 piece Swiss cheese mayo and bread. Which means I paid $1 for 1 piece roast beef $1 for 1 piece Swiss cheese $1 per piece of bread and .50 cents for mayo. Ridiculous if I’m gonna pay 4.50 for a sandwich it should at least have 3 pieces of meat on it. I will NEVER AGAIN SUPPORT THIS NEW STORE. We farm down the road and I will never even buy a coke from here again. Bad business with these farmers farming around yall. Yall have ruined this store and I’ve been coming here...
