I wanted to take a moment to discuss my experience with All Things Automotive after purchasing a vehicle from them. Last night, 12/11/24, at around 11:30 pm, I sent an email inquiry checking the availability of a vehicle for sale listed on their website for sale. Much to my surprise, I received an answer to that inquiry in less than 15 minutes from Whitney in sales telling me that the vehicle was in-fact, still available. I emailed Whitney back and made a very loose appointment for today (12/12/24). This morning I received a text message that she was in receipt of the email that I sent the night prior. We arranged to make contact in person at the dealership in the early afternoon. I followed up with a phone call to Whitney and after a brief chat and a two hour ride, I arrived at All Things Automotive. Whitney met me at the door and I immediately knew that she was very good at her job. As promised, she had the vehicle I was interested in parked out front, all clean, warmed up and ready to go. We went to her office and we began to talk about prices. Whitney handed me the out the door price with a complete breakdown of the fees, with zero hesitation. She then gave me the keys and told me to have fun on my test drive. I had noticed a second vehicle that I was interested in and Whitney had that second one parked out front, ready to go when I arrived back from my test drive of the first. I ultimately decided on the first truck. I purchased a super clean (Super Clean!) and absolutely beautiful 2018 GMC Sierra 1500. Whitney bent over backwards to make sure all of my needs were met. She even offered to have the vehicle put on the lift so that I could thoroughly inspect the underneath without being asked to. The gentleman in the service department, who were all very busy, stopped doing what they were doing to get my truck on the lift. Those gentlemen were extremely accommodating and helpful. Throughout the purchase, Whitney was extremely outgoing, friendly and professional, a complete rockstar! I never could have imagined that the car buying process would have been as easy, stress-free and dare I say enjoyable as it was with Whitney. Once I arranged my financing, I met with Roman Spriggs, the sales manager who was as equally amazing as Whitney was. Roman was quick with a laugh, very personable, polite, and professional. He took his time to thoroughly explained all the documents and the process moving forward. In fact every single person I dealt with today was super. My purchase was extremely open, straightforward with no hidden fees or agenda and could not have been any easier. My sincere thanks to Whitney and Roman. If youāre thinking about going to see the folks at All Things Automotive in McConnellsburg, I promise you will not be disappointed. I cannot recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of working with Whitney Davis from All Things Automotive, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. As an out-of-state buyer located five hours away, I was initially concerned about the logistics and perhaps making the drive only to find that the trade-in and purchase numbers would not work out. However, Whitney's professionalism and dedication quickly put those worries to rest.
The entire buying process was conducted seamlessly through email, making it remarkably easy and convenient for someone like me who couldn't make it to the dealership in person ahead of time. Whitney's attention to detail and clear communication ensured that I was well-informed at every step, and I never felt hassled or pressured into making decisions.
What set All Things Automotive apart was their genuine friendliness and commitment to customer satisfaction. Unlike some dealerships, there was no attempt to upsell me on unnecessary extras. The team's approach was refreshingly transparent, creating an environment where trust was easily established.
While my overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, it's worth noting a minor discrepancy. The vehicle was listed with as having a push-button start and heated seats, which, unfortunately, were not present. An unfortunate oversight, but it didn't overshadow the otherwise excellent service.
Choosing to drive five hours for this purchase was a decision based on the reputation of All Things Automotive, as reflected in prior customer reviews. When I arrived, it was clear that they were expecting me and that my time mattered.
I had a few other dealership options that were much closer to home, but the overall reviews and ratings for those places made me really nervous to do business with them. In an era where a business's reputation and word of mouth customer recommendations are crucial, All Things Automotive has certainly earned their positive standing.
Lastly, if all you do is stop by for some engine oil, you won't be disappointed by the amazing...

Apparently not everyone in the service department has integrity. Took my car in for an inspection and to have the tires balanced. First, they charged me for mounting and balancing four tires - when they were only supposed to re-balance the four tires already on my car. No mounting or dismounting (like when you get new tires installed) was required. So $15 per wheel just for balancing. Steep but ok if they actually did re-balance the wheels. Unfortunately, they did not do this like they said they did.
How do I know they didn't do it? Paint striped wheel weights.
In the past, I've had issues with wheel weights not staying put. I think the hub caps are part of the issue. So after having tires installed, I always use a paint marker to stripe the wheel weights so I know if a wobble develops (for me - this has been the indicator of a wheel balance problem), I can check the stripes and know if I lost one.
I took the car home after the appointment at ATA but because of traffic, I never got above 45mph. Everything seemed fine. Today is the first day I drove the car on the highway and at 60mph, I have a vibration - the same vibration that I had prior to taking the car to them in the first place and presumably caused by the missing wheel weight I discovered when checking my paint stripes. So after getting home, I pulled all the hub caps and imagine that - all my original wheel weights are there with their paint stripes AND... no new wheel weights have been added even on the wheel with the missing weight.
So not only did they over charge me for a service, they over charged me for a service they didn't even perform!
It always has been a 'buyer beware' world. But I now I understand why their waiting room doesn't really provide a view of the garage area - you can't watch them while they work (or...
