Nice park if you do not mind being held incommunicado. The park sits in a bowl and cell phone reception is virtually nonexistent, something the owner of the park intentionally conceals from registering guests then thinks it is funny when it is discovered. He literally laughed in my face when I told him it is why we were leaving early (forfeiting 3 days space rent in doing so ; and of course they do not give refunds), saying I had a bad attitude for life if I couldn't accept such trivial things. He was rude, confrontational, and arrogant. But a million people visit Tombstone annually, so I guess he can get away with such behavior unscathed. The wi-fi is not reliably functional, either. Also, the park does not enforce its own rules. There is to be no diving, jumping or horseplay of any kind in the swimming pool. We were the only ones in the pool when a group of 15 people came in, 11 of which were children who immediately began jumping and diving in the pool, doing cannon balls and engaging in horseplay and using our lounge chairs and towels that were on them. A park employee walked by and did nothing. The owner lives right next to the pool. The showers are only moderately clean, and there are no stools to sit on to get dressed after showering. But, again, a nice place if you do not want to make or receive phone calls or have reliably functional wi-fi, and if you don't mind selectively enforced rules or marginally clean showers or an owner who has no qualms putting down...
Read moreWe had only rented a travel trailer before we purchased a used one for ourselves and our trip to the Tombstone RV Park and Campground was the first trip we made in our trailer. Since we were newbies, the camp host actually stopped and gave us pointers. The park is incredibly clean and organized. It is also very pet friendly to include horse stall for those that bring horses to camp with. Many doggie clean up stations and all of the dogs in the campground were well-behaved. Our dog didn't appreciate the camping as much because he's so shy, but there was plenty of room to walk him around. The pool, laundry facilities and bathrooms/showers were immaculate. There is a very nice clubhouse that offers coffee every morning, which my husband loved. The wi-fi is best closest to the clubhouse and was sporadic further away and as more campers arrived. My husband just took his computer to the clubhouse to teach his online college class and had no issues. The office has quite a few items for sale including ice and if you need anything quick (like batteries!), there is a Dollar Store just up the road. The other campers were so friendly and we had such a nice trip trying out our trailer that we are...
