I want to start off by saying this meat market doesn't deserve a 5 star rating and I'll explain myself in this review..... First off they have the smallest selection of meat that I have ever seen in a meat market.. I will say the meat is pretty decent quality but not for the price.... prices are higher.... the main reason I am writing this review is the customer service is by far the worse I have ever seen... My wife asked for 5 pounds of burger and then asked to have it separately wrapped in 1 pound packages... the male worker said well we don't do that if you want separately packaged we have frozen ones.... I can go to A&A meat market and have my meat cut and packaged however I want with no problem..... I should have left when he said that but then I said hell with it I'm already here so I asked for 4 pounds of bacon and I said I do need it separately wrapped in 1 pound packages, the guy got all pissed.... like foreal who goes and buys 4 pounds of bacon and freezes it all together.... anyways the prices are twice the price as A&A meat market if not triple and they won't accomadate there customers in cuts or packaging.... I left after buying my burger and bacon and went to a&a and bought 500 dollars worth of meat.... ended up getting a slab of new York strip for 3.49 a pound got them cut 1 1/2 inches thick packaged in twos and ended up with 14 steaks at 54 dollars and not one complaint... by the way new your strip was 9.99 a pound at milligans... 14 steaks at 1 1/2 inch cut would probably cost close to 200 dollars then they would expect you to take it home in One package and re package it yourself in smaller packages .... I don't think I will ever go back to this meat market I'll...
Read moreIt's a butcher shop! I love it because they have great cuts of beef at reasonable rates. I have seen other reviews that say it "stinks," and it's "dirty." So, the smell is raw meat being cleaned and cut, okay, it's what a butcher shop smells like. Dirty? It has no frills, just an old butcher shop that's been around for years, like over 50. I will say again, it's so great neighbor hood butcher. I love it, and my family has been frequenting this shop for a long time, as I can remember. Jack, the owner, is very nice, as are the other workers that are there for...
Read moreWas there last week. buying a roast. The woman who graged the roast from the display and wrapped it was not wearing a facemask. Not only did she say I don't have to wear a facemask (wrong by state order) she said it is my right. I guess it is my right and every other potencial customer's right to not do business with a company that feels her rights are more important than the safty and protection of their customers. Sad a place that used to sell good meat finds it unnessary to require allemployeesto wear facemasks (by the way the buchers were not wearing face...
