Dollar General — Local services in Toms Brook

This dollar store is convenient and the staff are usually rather nice and helpful. I have only once had a complaint which was when one staff member was checking out a family member and held up the long line for 15min just talking but luckily another staff member seen some customers where not only waiting a rather long time but getting frustrated so she ran over and started checking people out in the other line. I'm not sure if that member who was holding up the line still works there or not but I haven't seen her. Came at 8am to pick up some things and the door is locked. Lights are on, the hours posted says it's open and website says they're open, but doors are locked, nobody in sight and when I called, the phone is off the hook or disconnected. Waited and watched 3 different people try the door, call, get fed up and get back in their cars and leave. Hopefully nobody died in the back room, cause I'm going to feel bad about a bad review later, but right now? Im watching another would be customer drive away, and I'll be # 5 to leave. This dollar store has a great staff that is very patient. They have a lot to do with stocking the store with all the items that are sent to them. Floor space is limited for how many skus they have them carry in the store. But for the employees they are patient and do a good job on making the visit as quick as possible by adding another person to check people out when a line starts to build.
