If I could give zero stars I would.

This gymnastics company does not care about the well being of your child, only the money that comes with you signing them up. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. When signing up for gymnastics, my daughter was ecstatic. I feel that Legacy Gymnastics took that excitement away from not only myself, but my daughter as well. It is hard doing anything with children but two very young children and a crying baby makes anything harder. The first day signing up for my daughter's classes, my son was screaming in my arms. Legacy Gymnastics took complete advantage of that moment having me sign a "waiver" for my daughter's "safety". Little did I know that I was signing things that were not disclosed to me and it happened to included information regarding their no refund policy in the fine print. I also have not received copies of these forms. That crucial information that should have been involved ended up costing me hundreds of dollars that could have been used towards my children. Times are tough right now and to lose money is something that is very hard for our family. We demanded that the owner called us back and when she did she was not compliant, friendly, or even slightly professional. She kept rushing my husband off of the phone. Not only were we not disclosed very important information but, their "class" for children was a complete misrepresentation. We were under the impression that our daughter would be in a class with several other children. We signed her up for socialization purposes. When we got to the class she was the only on in there, felt left out, was hysterical crying, and did not want to go back. The coach did not know what to do and stood around until another instructor left his class, calmed my daughter down, and tried to diffuse the situation. This is not professional on the one coach's part and that alone had me not wanting to ever send my daughter back. When we mentioned how our daughter was all alone and that we wanted her to be in a different class, we were told there were not other morning classes. Yet another mom in the facility complained and her child was instantly moved into a "full" class. They then decided they were cancelling my daughter's class completely due to not enough enrollments but continued to tell my husband it was because of us. The owner went on to say that they were going to credit our account for another class when she knew we did not want to come back and there is no other class time that would work for us being that I have a sitter for my son only on Tuesday mornings and my husband works late nights so night classes do not work. You would think as a business owner and seeing how hard it is to manage small children that they would be accommodating. It was complete deception and not anything close to what they made us believe this class was all about. My daughter will cry anytime she hears anything about gymnastics. It truly ruined her excitement and it shattered my heart to pieces. Nothing from start to finish was what they claimed it to be and it was the cherry on top when the owner did not want to hear a thing.

Bringing my daughter to Legacy has been one of the best decisions I’ve made as a parent. The facility is stacked with equipment and there is plenty of locker space for the kids. There is a nice viewing area upstairs too! Multiple bathrooms as well. Now onto the coaches. My daughter is 3years old. She immediately took to Coach Joe. She has flourished since starting in September. She trusts him and knows he’s not going to let her fail. If she does mess up, he immediately helps her correct her mistakes. She is so proud and happy and loves going to gymnastics! I cannot wait to see how well she does in the coming years, she improves every single time she goes. We are definitely in it for the long haul! NOT TO MENTION IT IS SO AFFORDABLE AND KRISTYN (the owner) ALLOWS SPLIT PAYMENTS! My favorite gym in the Ocean County area ! We have been apart of Legacy for over 7 years. With just attending tumble classes we quickly shifted into cheer and would not have changed a thing. I have two daughters who call Legacy their home. We came from a gymnastics gym with very little experience and quickly both of my girls leveled up. The coaching staff is very patient, knowledgeable and caring. Both of my daughters will tell you they are obsessed. It’s a very homey environment with so much to offer. The confidence and structure that has been given has been amazing. I trust the coaches and the gym with everything in me.
