I shop here 2-3 times a week today I stopped in with my son as he was shopping I wanted to check for any Dr Pepper sales as I proceeded towards the drinks I was rudely stopped and asked "WHAT DO YOU NEED" I told her that I was going to the drinks, she again rudely told me to go around that they were stocking the frozen food I let her know there was no need to be so rude to me and that I didn't think it was professional to speak to a customer in that manner and asked for her name that I fully intended to file a formal complaint she shouted at me I'm "The manager" I told her I didn't care and wanted her name which she replied Kathy! I continued with my shoppng and before checking out asked her again for her name, she yelled at me Kathy and I'm the manager I firmly told her I didn't care who she was and that didn't justify her rudeness. Several of the other customers were upset at the way she yelled at me and found it disturbing. I have witnessed her being rude towards other customers, once she was outside smoking and on her phone and was visibility upset that she had to put her cigarette out in order to check a customer out. If one of my employees spoke to any customer in the manner she did they would immediately be reprimanded. Do better...

I’m like “no what?” She said I will not take you drivers license because it’s damaged. I’m like ok that’s fine. She then says all my team knows not to take damaged license and she is saying this to me in anger.. no smile, no kindness. So I get following rules. I am a nurse and we have so many rules to follow. However why so hateful? In customer service it don’t matter if you are having a bad day. Especially if your manager, you should treat your customers with respect. I get being the manager of a Dollar General in Tool Texas may have gone to her head and she is on a power trip.. but if I were the owner I would terminate here immediately! I know I will never go...
Read moreAs far as The Dollar store goes this one in Tool is about as good as it gets. The convenience is obvious because when it was built it became the closest store to my house by far. It is one of the smaller stores but it also has a lot less traffic. Unlike the next closest store in 7-points Tx. which always appears kind of nasty and really busy, The Tool store is well maintained by a group of ladies who do the best they can with what they are given while maintaining a pleasant attitude and friendly demeanor. Thank you ladies for your hard work and...
