My husband and I fished with Bridget for 2 days and even brought our 4 year old son. We debated bringing him, but I'm so glad we did as I will remember the experience forever. Bridget was so kind and patient with him and made our experience even that more enjoyable that we were able to share it as a family, even with a young child. It's so important to me to introduce my son to these outdoor experiences starting at a young age and Bridget was perfect with him.

Aside from the family experience we enjoyed, we learned a lot about fly fishing and as a beginner I am now confident to start trying new areas closer to home. She's very responsive and helpful even after our trip when we went to purchase our own supplies. She gave us multiple options on places to stay and eat in Torrey, as well as other activities in the area such as hiking in Capitol Reef National Park, which was gorgeous!

What an amazing experience!!!

On my first fly fishing trip out west, I was fortunate to have linked up with Bridget and Chunky Trout Outfitters. Relatively new to fly fishing, I found her perfect combination of expertise and patience to be exactly what I needed. I received just the right of instruction and she never made me feel like my inexperience was an issue for her.

While still being extremely personable and fun to be around, Bridget is also very professional. Our sights were well scouted (as she put us on tons of fish both days) and she was always on time and prepared for everything.

I also really appreciated Bridget’s knowledge of the area. She provided us with excellent recommendations for lodging, meals and even activities for the day we didn’t fish with her.

I took my wife and 21 year old son on a flyfishing trip with Bridget and let me tell you there is no one better. This young lady knows her craft and is a pleasure to fish with. I will give you an example. Bridget was talking with my family and I while we were driving the back country to our fishing spot. I asked her how she found all of these fishing spots in Utah where she guides. Her answer...... I’m old school I got a paper map, drove the mountains and fished all these spots. Some were fantastic, some had no fish or weren’t worth taking my clients to. I was blown away. In today’s society it was a breath of fresh air to see someone work so hard at what they truly love to do. By the way these spots are not off a paved road they are dirt and rocks and require a lot of time and effort to get there.
