A huge selection of local, regional and international samples. There is selections that will fit any budget from kid's allowance to millionaire's living room trophy piece. Was not planning to buy anything as we have a large collection already but we still found several pieces that we had to buy because they intrigued us. I'm an author and I stepped inside in the name of research. All of my characters are named after rocks so that's what I was there to mine. Ideas. The nice fellow running the shop didn't pressure me to buy anything and was more than enthusiastic to show me his rocks and teach me some geology. He even whipped out his pocket knife and scraped it against some soap stone to show me how soft soap stone is! Stopped here on the way thru to SD. The RockShop has one of the largest rock collections and selections I've seen. Kids had an amazing time looking over various specimens, and were even offered a free rock for just stopping by. With our large and immense purchase, was accidentally over-charged a single item and the error was immediately corrected while on the road to our next destination, without hesitation.
