"And that all people who shall enter upon the threshold of the Lord's house may feel thy power, and feel constrained to acknowledge that thou hast sanctified it, and that it is thy house, a place of holiness."

Announced, built, and dedicated in the 1990s - this House of the Lord still stands beautifully off of the side of a busy freeway as a loving reminder that even in the midst of a loud and busy world, we can still take time to feel peace and loving reassurances from God that He loves all of His children.

I'm just in St. Louis for a few days for work and couldn't help but stop by just to sit outside on a bench and enjoy being here for a few moments.

This is a beautiful temple (they're all beautiful) and everyone should take an opportunity to visit the grounds. It appears that they're currently doing some work around the temple. While the building is closed, the grounds...

Peace. Be still. Coming onto the temple grounds, we can set aside the rush and turmoil of the world around us. We can turn away from distractions and our devices (except to take pictures). Here is where serenity comes to our soul. The Spirit of God even attends us as we visit the grounds with the beautiful flowers and the russet leaves on the trees. Autumn is in full bloom here. When we enter the temple to worship our Savior by reaching out to our Eternal Father, Their peace can distill upon our soul assuring us of Their constant and abiding love for us individually. "You are Father's Favorite Child....

When the Lord Jesus Christ's church is on our fallen world in it's fullness, He asks his saints to build temples, and instructs them what to do therein thru his living prophets. Temples dot the whole earth helping prepare latter day saints for the second coming of Jesus Christ w(whose house temples are). Holiness to the LORD! P.S.: you can't buy tickets but you can get worthy to enter as a baptized member of Christ's church in as little as a couple years...

I didn't get a chance to see the gorgeous church closely until this Saturday when I saw the door was open. I drove in and parked my car in the parking lot. Some people were charting out side and they are very nice. I asked they if I could took some pictures and they said sure. I took some photos from outside and I wish I could took some inside the church. But I was told that the photography is not encouraged inside the church. The church is beautiful and impressive!

A beautiful temple, the spirit here is always strong, and even if you are not a member the grounds are a wonderfully place to reflect and find peace. If you are a member I strongly recommend coming to this temple if your in the area the peace and love here is incredible, the temple truly is "The House of The Lord"
