When I made the decision to move into a 2 bedroom apt. I was on the quest for a new bedroom set. I went to Steinhaufels where I had sticker shock for Amish made furniture. Once seeing how the furniture was made and it’s quality I was sold on getting Amish hand made furniture. In my research I found Detweiler and Kauffman. For several days Edith answered all my questions and was always friendly on the phone. After exchanging some phone calls and emails I drove out to the store. Once inside you get a real appreciation for the quality of work. I knew then I was making the right decision. The best part was I was able to save money from big box store prices. It did take a while for the set to be made but once it was delivered and I saw the set in my home it was definitely worth the wait. Edith and team deserve a job well done. A few years ago, we purchased bedroom furniture from Detweiler & Kauffman Furniture. We were so impressed with the quality that we also just bought a dining room table. While the delivery time frame was long (25-30 weeks) for both purchases, it was still worth the wait. Craftsmanship is excellent and affordably priced. They give you a 1 or 2 hour window for delivery and were on the early side of the window each time. They are respectful and careful not to damage anything. I will absolutely continue purchasing...

Biased but for a Reason - I was searching all over for a Sofa arrangement. Detweiler Kauffman Furniture had EXACTLY what we were looking for! The furniture is such high quality and I was shocked that the price was less than so many other stores we had shopped at for the same solution! Can't wait to get the new furniture.
