Pond-Hill Processing — Local services in Town of Almon

I was excited to find a place that processed rabbits and was fairly close to me. They were helpful when I called with questions and to set up the appointment. I brought in 16, 6 months old or younger and not aggressive. They were brought in first thing in the morning so they were done first. I picked them up the next day, I had them vacuum sealed as I planned to sell them at farmers markets. I was unable to look them over when I picked them up as my young son was with me and getting very fussy and crying. When I got them home I was looking them over as I was putting them away and they were dirty. There was hair in almost all of them and what looks like dirt in some. I messaged them with pictures but they have done nothing to fix this for me. All I got from them is "Thanks to you we will no longer be doing rabbits." Very rude! Will not be going back and told all my rabbit contacts...

Pond Hill is A small, yet well-stocked meat shop. Their bacon is some of the leanest I have ever bought and the flavor is wonderful and it is not overly smoky. A friend told me about this place recently. So I made the trek to the Northeastern side of Wittenberg where Pond Hill is located. Definitely worth the trip. They have a small, but nice selection of products. I picked up smoked pork chops, garlic beef sticks, bacon, 2 different types of brats, summer sausage, and ham pieces. These products taste great and are reasonably priced!!!...
