Kosiba's Lock Shop — Local services in Town of Amsterdam

After being turned away by a local locksmith in downtown Schenectady, NY (right next to Wendy's) who refused to cut a key from my broken pieces (and tried to upsell me on an expensive lock removal), I drove 30 minutes to Kosiba's Lock Shop. They had NO issues recreating my key, using both fragments to craft a stronger, USA-made replacement—all for just $4 and some change!

I was so grateful that I even offered to pay double, but they refused, simply saying, "We appreciate your business." That right there is the difference between a business that serves its customers and one that only serves its own pocket.

Thanks to their integrity and skill, I didn’t have to pay my storage company to cut my lock, nor did I have to call a mobile locksmith and spend hundreds of dollars just to access my own storage unit.

I will never go anywhere else for my keys to be made or buy replacement toolbox locks, Kosibas is a One & Done for any key this includes roof rack crossbar locks for cars truck & trailer tool box locks truck cap locks, just take the number that is stamped on the lock cylinder and what crossbar cap or toolbox you have to them. My house burnt up. All my keys melted, including chipped vehicle keys. They came to my location, and made multiple keys from nothing bit a Vin number. They did it on a moments notice, and got me running before a big snow storm came in. I can't even express what they did to get me running but I'll drive there 14 Niles away for a $3 key before I ever went to a Walmart 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
