I'm 39 my father is 83. He has been playing golf since he is 16. I've been playing since I'm 10. Today we played 2 holes here and then were approached by the owner midway through our 3rd hole to tell us to play faster and that it should be 10 minutes per hole. She then told us "most of the time it's 7 minutes per hole". Our tee time was 11:30 and this happened just around 11:55. Really rude and totally uncalled for because from what I could tell, we had 1 twosome playing behind us. I've played so many golf courses throughout my life and have never been rushed like this by anyone. She drove off after ruining what was a good start to our day and came back a few mins later carrying a handicap flag for our cart because my dad is elderly(he isn't handicapped in any way). I yelled +at her that her behavior was uncalled for (in much more harsh terms) and she replied that if we want a refund we can have it and to leave. So we followed back to the clubhouse. Inside I spoke to her daughter who explained that they booked tee times every 10 mins and that there were 3 or 4 groups waiting to tee off currently. So the issue here was that they had over booked their day or some groups came later than their scheduled tee time or earlier than scheduled and they were just trying to accommodate everyone waiting instead of letting the golfers just golf. My advice for anyone coming here is... DON'T. The owner was rude, the course is nothing special, and they overbook tee times so you may be waiting for a while to tee off anyway. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT! Go to any of the 5 or 6 other courses within 20 miles and actually enjoy a relaxing game of golf instead of feeling rushed and treated...
Read moreVery nice course! I recently played here in vacation visiting my wife's family. The greens are the best part of the course in my opinion. They're quite small but all in very good condition. They all roll and break the same as they should. It's a very short course and for me the driver is only needed on one hole or two if you play 18. Great course to walk if you're able it may actually be quicker to play. I rode 18 with family and that was a great 5 hours on the course. I then woke the next morning and walked 9 in one hour and thirty five minutes. I highly recommend playing here if you're near the area, the price is fair and staff...
Read moreReally nice place. Well kept and fun to play. The pace of play felt a little rushed, but I think that was more because the holes were short par 3 and 4 and the game moved fast. If you want to try it out I wouldn't bring more then a pair because more then that and you would feel pressure from the group behind you. Definitely play 18 holes because you will be done here in an hour and a half if you play 9 holes and probably be left wanting more. This was a beautiful, well kept, very fun...
