This place deserves ZERO stars!! Was at this location (10/20/21 1:30p.m.) and there was a buck entangled in a wire fence, and another buck violently attacking it. We went and alerted two employees who said “Oh, they’ve been fighting all day…stupid.” We explained again, that the one was very entangled in the wire fence, and needed help. So they walked out, looked at it for a minute, brushed it off, and walked away in a huff. We waited around another 15 minutes, expecting to see somebody come to this poor animals rescue, and nothing was done. We were not going to stay and watch it get killed by the other buck, so we left, and immediately called the DNR. We have now learned from other reviews on their Facebook, that these employees let this buck helplessly succumb to the other buck, who had been violently attacking it, for hours at that point. This is not the first time we’ve visited this location and witnessed mistreatment of their animals, but it is the worst!!

SHAME ON YOU PECK’S!! Your location attracts families with very young children, they should not have to witness these types of behaviors/treatment. Y’all need to do better by your animals, or not have them at all, no animal deserves what that buck endured today. SMH. We will no longer be back, and hope others will see this and follow suit. I’m reporting you on everything I...

Unfriendly employees!!!!! After looking at the animals and donating to the animals we decided to get a few things. When I went to the register to pay with my card I noticed the sign $10 min with card. I politely said I would wait till my wife got back from the restroom to see if she had any cash because I didn't have any and my total was $7.00. When my wife returned I ask if she had any cash and she didn't so I politely told the cashier I guess we didn't need the candy since you won't take my debit card less then $10.00 and walked to the car. While walking to the car one of the employees come out and says to my wife you shouldn't of used our bathroom then "aka porta potty". WOW!!!! This is the last time I will ever stop there. They have signs up everywhere about if you break it you purchased it and have a $ value way above retail. I have been stoping there since I was a kid but I will drive down the...

Forget about the rest of these reviews about the store and how it was nice for a family day out. The way these animals are treated is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I went to Pecks and went through the terrible excuse of a petting zoo. All of the animals were begging for food and were giving nothing other then the corn people buy to feed them. All of the animals from the goats to the huge cows and elk were given a dog sized bowl for water. almost every animals ribs were showing and were just simply begging for just some attention. I cannot believe that this place hasn’t been shut down for animal neglect. No animal deserves to be treated like that. The people running this place should be ashamed of themselves. i’ve posted photos of the cow and deer in...

Took my daughter here for her 4th birthday to visit the animals. She enjoyed it very much. They have bags of feed to buy for the animals, a bin FULL of peacock feathers, lots of unique treats, and a range of different animals to see. The only thing I would suggest is more strategically placed garbage cans. We found litter that someone left behind, along with our own garbage wrappers that we carried around for a while, and I had to go looking for a receptical near the main building (to free up my hands) which upset my daughter's 4yo attention span. Playground needs an update too but she enjoyed it either way.

I visited all the way from Hawaii and I truly had a wonderful time here! They have a corn dispenser and I fed all the animals! They looked so healthy and they each had enough living space, which I appreciated. You wouldn’t believe how adorable the baby calfs were. The cashier guy was so sweet and helpful. We made sure to leave with goodies from the market too. BY FAR, THE BEST MARKET AND FARM ANIMAL INTERACTION I EVER BEEN TOO!! This is one of my first reviews, cuz I don’t do this often. (Don’t confuse this Peck’s market with the much bigger one more west from here, Brad Peck’s FM)

A pleasant experience for all to enjoy! A must see if in the area. A free, fun animal experience great for kids. You can tell the animals are all very well cared for and are genuinely living happy, healthy lives. All animals big and small have large enclosures with lots of enrichment and fresh food. Great variety of friendly birds, deer, and other barnyard animals. All of this along with a fresh market of local vegetables and other products. I highly recommend paying this place a visit.
