Crescent Meats — Local services in Town of Arthur

We have been ordering from crescent for years. A month or so ago we bought two of their crescent crates. When we received our meat, some of it looked a little sad, gray, freezer burnt. As we have been going through the meat, we are finding that yes indeed a lot of the meat is freezer burnt or spoiled. We have had that happen in the past, but it was only one or two pieces in the crate so we blew it off. This time it's at least half. At this point, I think when you order their "crates," you are just getting the oldest meat they have in their freezer and they are wanting to get rid of, but still want to make money on them instead of tossing them out. Just took out and thawed two Ribeyes and they smell like rotting cheese. I am sick of it. We just threw out two T bones last week! Won't be going to...

I stopped by here on the way back to Chicago after camping at Brunet Island. Glad I did. A million different types of beef sticks, jerky, brats/sausages, bacon, and other processed meat products. Tons of great local fresh and frozen meat of all types - including hard to find stuff. And my dog absolutely loves the elk marrow bones they sell here. Everything I’ve tried from here is outstanding thus far. Friendly people and excellent customer service. I was glad to hear they ship, as I can’t wait order some...

VERY TIGHT !! Turn in 1st driveway from the south.. watch for parked cars EVERYWHERE...Pull up to gate check in at office and Blind side back into dock.. construction equipment everywhere back here too so very tight for 53 but very doable just be carefull..ask and they will move equipment for u like the did me.. Very nice people and also very good meats I spent $50 bucks inside and am enjoying some elk sticks now..Good Luck...
