Keeseville Grocery & Deli — Local services in Town of AuSable

I'm almost delirious about the opening of the Keeseville Grocery & Deli which has surpassed every expectation anyone had, imho. It's prices are comparable to the larger chain grocery stores in Plattsburgh, and in some cases, even less. The aisles are wide enough for 2 carts to pass without colliding and they're clean!!! Even the shelves are clean, neat, and stocked. And both staff and management have been both available and then gone overboard to get it right whether it's product-related or just how to slice the deli meat!! Am I a little bit prejudiced because I can get my favorite soda or deli meat cheaper and faster?! Yes, but they deserve 6 stars for actually having it all and doing it so well, if not better than the chain franchises. It truly is a local grocery store...

I’ve been looking forward to this place opening for months and my husband and I were so happy to see that it is very well stocked and reasonably priced! The shelves have been a little bare in spots, after seeing them packed the first week, and I take that as a sign that our little town was even hungrier for a convenient grocery spot than expected. It can’t be easy to open a grocery store during the holiday season in the middle of nowhere and expect deliveries to line up perfectly with demand. I absolutely love this store! It's always very clean, well lit, well stocked and the perishable departments are all spot on. It's nice to have fresh produce and even bread right down the road from my house and I'm so happy that my old store i worked at, Family Dollar, was not left vacant as an eyesore and instead was turned into a modern and convenient grocery store.
