This place was totally awesome. It's at the drive-in movie theater every Sunday during the summer season. There is such a wide variety of different things here. I saw fruits and vegetables, beanie babies, new and used clothes, smoking accessories, edibles and cannabis plants, jewelry, book bags and purses, just to name a few. so bring lots of cash because you'll want to buy a little bit of everything. It's completely open to the public to buy or sell items here. If you want to sell you simply show up, set up and pay the $32 fee. They give you two times to sell before you have to apply for a sales tax license.
I only gave it four stars because of all the gravel. Whoever decided to put rocks down for parking areas and driveways was definitely not a genius. I recommend wearing good shoes, nothing thin, because there's...
Read moreThey've torn up the area where the flea market is held so much there really is barely any vendors there anymore, not nearly as much as the 90's. The amount of shoppers though is staggering...seems people who visit the market have increased while the vendors have decreased. So if you like struggling to look at the merchandise through swarms of crowds only at the 10-20 vendors who've had the same merchandise since '95 and are the only ones that bother to set up there anymore...you're in for a real treat. Especially the families that bring a bunch of kids that don't realize they are standing in the middle of a vendor's space and other people can't pass through. Add to that the kids that don't understand that "toys" in some boothes are collectibles and not for playing. The best is the adults bumping glass items together and chipping them, or those who are completely unaware of the packpacks, or big bags hitting whats behind them sometimes knocking things down. Lot's of lack of awareness and customers being rude to vendors. It's other customers that make it hard...
