Pine Ridge Grocery — Local services in Town of Bainbridge

Really loved going here until they started leaving old produce out and putting things that are no good on sale just because price chopper is running a sale.

I don't eat a lot of cold cuts, but it's another thing I prefer to get here, normally because they cut it how I want (I'd rather have shaved ham any day rather than what some people consider 'thin'). I always specify 'paper thin' or, as thin as you can get it. Because you never know if they will show you the first piece, have it be fine then the rest nothing like it. This is not a huge request from me, the customer. Teach the deli people how to use their slicers properly and it would be no big deal at all.

Point being : it's $10/lb please cut it the way I ask and when people that can do it like I ask are surrounding you, it's not a good look to say you can't do it any thinner. I felt real bad for the guy besides me a couple weeks ago who bought 50 dollars of roast beef shaved and didn't look. I was right after him and know he didn't get it shaved. These kind of practices leave a bad taste in a customers mouth especially if they're a regular. Luckily they will let you return it, but I never do. I just hope they fix the issue, which they don't seem too worried about doing. I guess I'll have to stick with the people I know can do it from now on even if I have to wait which isn't fair to the...

This is one of the best places in the world to shop. Everyone there is so friendly and so helpful. They have an amazing selection of spices and basic ingredients every kind of flour sugar. Their Deli has amazing Selections and the flavor is second-to-none and they have much cheaper prices. They have things that other stores even Wegmans never even stock. Excellent place to shop even though the hours are a little short on the weekends as they are closed on Sunday. I have never ever had a bad experience here it just keeps getting better and better. As they've remodeled they have added more things to the stock of the store. The sub sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Excellent place to buy yeast and other basic ingredients that you can't find anywhere else. Once again everyone is just so very friendly. It's such a pleasant place to go I look forward to it every time I get there. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone it's a great place to shop. It's not like a regular grocery store but for people who do a lot of home cooking...

Love this place. The deli is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great variety of gifts, bulk candies and dry goods. My absolute favorite thing has to be the fresh slab bacon. Had to update my previous review since it was a few years old. This place is the absolute best! They began selling fresh meat a couple years ago and it has been a great addition! Now they are doing bulk meat sales and I have to admit that they have passed my expectations! The meat is great quality. The service is even better. Proud to have this awesome store and it's staff in our town.

A few more years have passed... And can I please give them 10 stars instead of 5? Because over the years they have definitely earned them. Through Covid and the poor economy they have stuck it out with awesome stock, and even better pricing. Yes it may be more expensive sometimes than a big box store but the quality it's much better!
